Another frustrating day for the plan!
Races Bet 9
Trifectas Won 5
Total Bet $648.00
Total Return $452.00
Profit/Loss ($196.10)

Trifectas are frustrating.

Heres an angle that has a low out going with reasonable results.
Using the pre-post market in the newspaper.

Back either the first or second fav. to win and leave the other out all together .

Then back the 3rd.4th.5th.6th&7th Fav. to run 2nd.& 3rd.
So it will look like this
1st.or 2nd Fav to win(leaving one out) with 3-7th Favs. to run 2nd.& 3rd.
Cost $20 outlay for a $1.00 unit

If horses are sharing the same price line in the newspaper. Take them in numerical TAB order.E.g. if TAB Nos.1,2,3 are all on the 3rd. line of betting , they now become selections 3,4,5 to run 2nd. & 3rd.

If there are 2 horses sharing favortisim, the are treated as being 1st.& 2nd. Favorite.
You now have to delete one of them alltogether. Because they very rarely get up to gether in the same trifecta.

Results-Wed 17th.July, using the $20 Plan.

13 races with 7-9 runners
The selection of the 2 Favs. was the one with the widest barrier (they tend to pay more when they get up).
With the 3rd.- 7th. Fav. in newspaper.

Dont take any notice of form, even if they have not run before, because we are assuming the bookmaker who framed the market has take form & trial runs into his calculation of the price shown.

1 Trifecta win only $550
Outlay $260
Profit $290 112% POT on the day.

Frustrating stuff, many of the 1st & 2nd. Favs. fell over on the day.

Mr Bhagwan,
Have you any more significant results than the 1 midweek meeting for the new $20 plan.

You must understand that many less experienced punters than you (like myself)will jump straight in hoping to get to Bali by Christmas (although they tell me its not the time to go)only to lose thier money.

Hows Mrs B.
