Red Cadeaux - 5th,,looked a good run

They're are touting To The World for the BMW. Claiming the horse to be the best Japanese horse to come to Australia. Import Hartnell has done a treat since arriving in Australia, even better suited by the 2400m. All set for a great race!

The track condition put a question mark against Red Cadeaux stamina over 2 mile, so they went with the shorter race

MyHatMyCoat 16th April 2015 02:46 PM

Made the right move.

Queen Elizabeth Stakes quinella, Criterion / Red Cadeaux set to do battle again, in Hong Kong, The Audemars Piguet QEII Cup, tomorrow

kiwiz 28th April 2015 05:44 AM

Protectionist pulled up extremely sore after a disappointing performance in the Sydney Cup
But tests since have cleared Protectionist of serious injury
The results showed Protectionist had bruising on his left knee but no chips or breaks
Protectionist now spelled for six to eight weeks and then checked to determine whether he pursues a spring campaign

Yep, saw that race, should have won

Got beat a short head by the winner Free Eagle after finishing strongly once clear

And despite his defeat, the Racing Post rated The Grey Gatsby's run as the best performance of the five-day meeting!

Golden Horn would be no slouch then. Recently beat The Grey Gatsby by 3.5 lengths in the Coral-Eclipse Stakes. The Grey Gatsby had every chance.

JB1 14th July 2015 12:01 PM

And I think Golden Horn is a 3yo whilst The Grey Gatsby is a 4yo.

Golden Horn was scratched from yesterday's £1.15 million King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot
But no drama, withdrawn due to the heavy track
