Sorry Sportz, I have to over-rule you there. Real deal gets 100 point [only] for a missed week. Anything else he had coming to him is forfeited. He could probably argue that point, but in the spirit of things if you miss a week you get the basic points only you missed [100units] nothing else. I'll make that much clearer next time.

Huh??? You mean everyone that doesn't tip gets an extra $100 to bet with the following week??? Now, it's your comp, so you can do what you like, but that doesn't really seem fair on the people that do manage to tip each week. And it could also make things VERY confusing.

Rabbitz didn't tip in week 1. Does he get an extra $100 somewhere? Testarossa, Merriguy and mad all missed this week, so I guess they all have $200 to bet with next week? And what about luv2bet. He missed the first week and this week. See what I mean. Confusing.

I see your point Sportz. But they all have to put there hands up. If they let it go it's their problem. What can I do about a rule that is there for all to see? If I'm challenged on the point I'm stuffed. The rule is there !!!

Real Deal has read the rules [obviously] and is claiming his points for next week. Nothing confusing about it. It is up to the others to claim theirs the following week or forfeit them.The fact they haven't should not penalize Raw Deal who has claimed them. Basically everyone is entitled to 600 points for the 6 week comp. if they want them.

Things come up and punters miss a week through no fault of their own. That was the initial thrust of the rule. It is up to them to claim the points they missed [the following week obviously], not us to award them if unclaimed or penalize anyone who does claim them because others haven't claimed theirs.

See my point? Rules are rules.

well, everyone seems to be loving kaphero at the moment (thank god i took fixed odds), so i'll try my next pick!

Everything looks set for Casino Prince tomorrow in my opinion, but at crap odds and Wonderful Word [at wonderful odds] is a horse everyone has forgotten about Chuck. It's good enough to win tomorrow [it'll be cherry ripe] and with a good run by Zac Perton even though it missed an important lead up race, barrier 15 might be an advantage in this race notorious for horses on the inside being hammered and scared out of their wits by a wall of horses charging for fence runs by very aggressive Jockeys. Greg Hall coped 2 months suspension and a $50k fine after his win in the slipper on Merlene for his aggressive tactics years ago. It'll be whips, boots, language and who knows, perhaps even the odd fist tomorrow.
