Well, kellmark had a brilliant day today to seal top spot and Reded made a profit to confirm second place.

Myself and walkermac make up the top 4 but personally, I'm disappointed I wasn't able to get into the black. Going to change my way of doing things for the finals.

The person listed first (Kellmark & Walkermac) finished higher on the ladder, so get the "home ground advantage" and can bet between $120 and $360 while Reded & myself can bet between $100 and $300. I will convert all totals back to a score out of 120 & 100.

The tipster who posts second in each match up is only allowed to include one of the horses tipped by the person who posted first.

In the unlikely event of a tie, the match will be awarded to the one listed second, as they had less money to spend.

I'm going to get in nice and early so I don't overcomplicate things tomorrow morning. I may have to make changes though, for scratchings and Sydney possibly being washed out! :(

Walkermac has ended up on 105. I'm stuck on zero. I still have 3 races to go, but my selections are going like absolute camels today.

Reded has had a few wins so far and looks like heading for the grand final.

Well, I had a couple of good results but 3 total wipeouts, so it will be walkermac who moves on to next week from the minor semi-final.

The other match up isn't over yet, but Reded is safely ahead of Kellmark, and will be going to the grand final.

I wish I had been on here earlier today, so I could have sorted this out. Morp Race 9-1 was a winner, but it wasn't Kallos. If in doubt, normally I go by the horse's name, but in this case, kellmark already had a selection in Kallos's race (Hypothetical) which suggests that the last tip was really supposed to be in race 9. So now I'm really confused.

Firstly, my apologies Sportz, in my haste I did stuff up and caused confusion for you and Walkermac. The selection was supposed to be Prairie Flower in Race 9 but I had forgotten to click Race 9 on the TAB website, so when I saw I had No 1 I just put Kallos as I was still on Race 8. In my opinion the incorrect horse was put and therefore it's a void bet. It probably means I'll lose as it was an atrocious day again, but I should have been more careful.



I culled a few bets, one of which was Senegalia, so good decisions all round for me yesterday.


Having a quick look I;d say Walkermac wins, so well done and good luck to both in the final.

Kellmark, that was the problem I had. I honestly felt that you really did mean to pick Prairie Flower, and if you had, you were the winner. If you tipped Kallos, you were the loser.

So although you incorrectly typed Kallos, you did correctly put 9-1, and we're not playing for big money or anything here, so in the spirit of the competition, I'm going to say that we call this a draw, and both you and walkermac can go through. There's no precedent for this, but what the heck? If you want to be involved, we will make it a 3 person grand final...
