Just when i thought i should be backing my selections outright.. my backups today were spectacular.
I picked no winners from 5 and only 1 fav saver came in. But the Unitab raters were excellent ..Im not sure how they've done in other races but they saved me today. Maybe i should be using them full time instead of using them only when sportsman isnt out.

Any thoughts on who you guys prefer...just hard to change something thats been so succesful lately..

I think both Bush Honey and Go Ziggy wll find it hard to go past Pentelikon,,and i think a horse with heaps of improvement is Dane Promise...going to be a great race..
Atriums looks good but i like the way Kutalo stuck to his guns last time and has a good front running jockey in Kennedy aboard.
Aquatic drive has a big show and will shorten heaps i reckon..im going for alittle value in Working Class Man.. i think EF and the distance will suit and has been running on..
I agree however with Sunshine Sam ,,great run last week and should win easily..

We both jumped off Bush Honey after backing it for a win last start and of course it won.
pentelikon was dissapointing.
Working class man nearly got there.
Good win by Sunshine Sam and we were both sitting on that one.
I like birak attack but am hoping runnarchie breaks through ,,has been looking good of late. Full fathom looks good as well,, good race.

Did you ever check if your selections and the favs in the races you select would be good enough for place betting?
That brings me to ask another question, (if it is not a state secret) why do you select certain races and not others?
What is the criteria?

I like to try and narrow it down to My selection and the likely favourite it in the race.I have to be fairly confident, if there seems to be to many chances best just to watch..Yesterday for example i was confident Solray was the danger to Mafia Don ...also was confident Mighty moose was a real good chance against Nitroglycerine..didnt work out to plan exactly but was there abouts.

I never backed horses for places ,,,although i have used allups where i'll back horses for a place and then a win in the last leg for a horse i'll know will be short..

another poor day...i'm on a bit of a down hill roll..out of 18 selections only 1 winner 5 savers and 3 placings..my trifectas saved me today with 5 and some nice priced ones at that..
will carry on what i'm doing and hope that i turn the corner..will also review my selection process...Amtrak and Sunshine sam would of been real good.. :sad:
