Hey Sportz,
Another great lot of selections from you....great work mate...missed on Wild Frankie but got ahead with a nice ew, quin, ex and tri from Hotel Grand...keep it up mate its been a good last few days...made up for a poor past week:(

Hope Red H can do it for me against Hartleys...took them in ex tris with field so heres hoping...lol

Desi 15th September 2005 04:56 PM

Also had Tomdooli BBooked after running on behind Moonchka, Keys Ace and Circle Valley (all have gone on to win since) at Belmont a couple of weeks back...failed at Kal after that on a fast track at 1200m...thought the extra 200 and a less hard track might help but see that every man and his dog has decided to back him today lol!!! Oh well...good luck anyway...

luv2bet 15th September 2005 05:24 PM

Cant split em' in the big one at kalgoolie. Really like hotel casuarina, have been following it for quite a while, red hannigan will be thereabouts as well along with the fav. Wire detonater is capable in this croud has been racing well and at his pet distance.......... decisions......
Gonna go a box 6 tri just out of interest, 1,3,4,9,10,14.... c how we go!!

Had to put the 3 in there at 90 - 1 since it got a mention from desi....

maverick1993 15th September 2005 05:31 PM

go the roughie..having a slab e/w on the 9 ..
so that will narrow down the possible winners for you guys :)
and yes thats where the dart landed..

maverick1993 15th September 2005 05:38 PM

some unlucky runs there..very crowded ..great race ..14 ?? well done Luv2

Well, it was a wipeout with the win bets, but the trifecta more than made up for it. In the end, I didn't bother with the 9 and just went 1,2,3,14 / 1,2,3,10,13,14. Nearly $400 return from $40. Not bad considering none of my top 3 tips even ran a place! :)

maverick1993 15th September 2005 05:57 PM

well done sportz,,,don't you just love those excotics :)

Sportz 15th September 2005 05:57 PM

Exotics even. :)

maverick1993 15th September 2005 05:59 PM

yes even those :)

maverick1993 15th September 2005 06:03 PM

hey sportz..what do you think the track conditions will be in Melbourne Saturday ....any thoughts anyone ?

Sportz 15th September 2005 06:06 PM

In one word........ wet.

Seriously though, if there was no more rain, it would probably be 'slow', maybe even on the better side of slow. However, rain is definitely forecast over the next day or two, so I'd suggest you look at a 'heavy' track.

maverick1993 15th September 2005 06:10 PM

such a shame.. .. will tread carefully in Melbourne i'm thinking..

Matilda 15th September 2005 06:17 PM

By just glancing thru 2 main races in Mel on Sat, I saw Grey Song record on Heavy track is perfect in Underwood and Our Egyptian Raine and Wildly (good track and heavy condition record) in Dubai Cup.

Grey Song - Always popos out in a blue moon with good/long odds.

Our Egyptian Raine - Well run in Manikato

Wildly - Good win in Bob Lewis but barrier a little worry

Desi 15th September 2005 06:26 PM

Hey good call on Wire D Luv and Sportz...lol just got my butt kicked but still ahead...have to learn to leave at the right time hahaha...:) Bring on tomorrow...

maverick1993 16th September 2005 11:47 AM

Any tips Guys ?

I'll put the mocker on *Paddy Mac , *Rallyart express, *Zakynthos Olives
also have Never Sad in my stable..i have her last start marked as inconclusive so i'm giving the donkey one more chance..shoud be huge odds.

Quiet day ,,looking forward to tomorrow..

Sportz 16th September 2005 12:14 PM

Okay, not very keen and I haven't been able to study them as much as I'd like, so please take it easy. I certainly will be. The races I'm a little confident about are R4 at Wagga, R4 & 5 at Muswellbrook and R4, 5 & 8 at Kilmore.

TOWNSVILLE
Race 2 - 1 FINAL (1,2,3,4)
Race 6 - 1 RAGING BULLET, 6 Expressful (1,6,8,9 - 13,6)
Race 7 - 3 LOS ALTOS, 4 Mulligan (3,4,9,13 - 1,10)

WAGGA
Race 4 - 1 ICASON & 6 MARY'S FLAG (1,6,2,4,8)

MUSWELLBROOK
Race 4 - 5 DANISHED, 4 The Ark, 2 Opal Chip (5,4,2,3 - 9,8)
Race 5 - 2 LA SEQUANNA, 1 Helmsley (2,1,5,4 - 3,10)
Race 6 - 4 Dane Legacy & 6 Rallyart Express (4,6,5,3 - 10,1,2)
Race 8 - 2 REGRADE, 4 Monte Atom, 6 Paddy Mac (2,4,6,1 - 3,13)
Race 9 - 1 DORER, 3 Nobragnow, 4 Brave Regent (1,3,4,6 - 9,2,13)

KILMORE
Race 2 - (10,4,2,7 - 11,1)
Race 3 - (12,7,3,2 - 6,8)
Race 4 - 2 COLONEL MUSTARD, 9 Khateer (2,9,3,4,1)
Race 5 - 6 STONEWORKZ, 7 Declaree, 2 Hardy Steele (6,7,2,1,3)
Race 8 - 10 OTTO CARATE, 2 Hoplite (10,2,3,4,8)

I see there's a horse named after me today: Wagga race 2-6. :o

Hey Sportz see one of the Black Book posts on this forum Viakalani Smytzer is running soon...know anything about it?...

Sportz 16th September 2005 12:45 PM

I tipped it last start and it was a bit disappointing. If it reproduces it's previous form, it'll probably win.

Desi 16th September 2005 01:00 PM

Saved your money Sportz lol! Off the BB list I think...:)

Sportz 16th September 2005 01:01 PM

Well, he's obviously not much good.

Sportz 16th September 2005 01:05 PM

Yeah, I haven't even had a bet yet.

I should have backed Greg Ryan in R2 & 3 at Muswellbrook though. Damn. :(

comes up as a booker special..

its scratched anyway

Sportz 16th September 2005 01:15 PM

It's scratched, Mav. I knew there must be some reason why I couldn't remember it.

maverick1993 16th September 2005 01:17 PM

jesus ..how wet is the track in Muswelbrook...wonder if they'll get through the whole meeting..

Sportz do you give Mondville a chance in the 7th at Mussy ?? heard a whisper it should run real well today.

Sportz 16th September 2005 01:19 PM

Well, with the Muswellbrook track being downgraded, R4 became pretty easy really. 5-4-2 was an obvious result.

I do now. At least it's one that's gone okay in the wet before. I'm going to have to look at Muswellbrook all over again now.

Stix 16th September 2005 01:36 PM

Stix

Sportz 16th September 2005 01:41 PM

Muswellbrook's off.

Saves us having to make a decision on whether to keep betting there or not.

Stix 16th September 2005 01:50 PM

My Best for the Day.........

WOODIDIERE TOWNSVILLE R7 No.9 (1400m)

Going Eachway..... in a big way....... (fingers crossed!)

Sportz 16th September 2005 02:02 PM

I have him rated 3rd. If he's good odds, I'll probably have something on as well.

Mary's Flag was good. 2nd and 3rd were certainly a surprise though! That's wet tracks for ya!

Silver_and_sand 16th September 2005 03:29 PM

Wow. Centrebet are only offering $7 for a fixed odds win on Woodidiere (Townsville R7 #9). In the meantime, Supertab and Qtab are offering between $15 to $18. Only a couple minutes to jump. Hope you get a good price, and good luck.

Silver_and_sand 16th September 2005 03:32 PM

Centrebet's price just jumped up to $15, I guess to match the Tabs.

Sportz 16th September 2005 03:42 PM

Well, I ended up having a small bet on Woodidiere, but I was REALLY keen on the price for Mulligan. I had him rated at $3.50. The first 4 was okay too.
