Watsonnek, I've spotted that you are usually on the ball? is that your own ratings??? just interested as I'm in West myself. Though today I was VERY surprised that you left out Local Legend, which is more than a legend for me it's a ************ HERO. But there again I left out Field Commander last week and am still weeping!!

First-up over 2000M after a 4+ months break? Just proves (as I'm sure a lot of fellow forumites are already aware) that nothing beats race fitness, no matter how much better you really are, especially if racing first-up over a bit of ground. Not one of Paul's better rides, and was surprised he got as close as he did. IMO this race had the makings of a 'no-bet' race. A lot of punters got burnt. |
