Just announced, the club is debt-free (12 months ahead of schedule) & looking to build on their 60,000+ membership!

Meanwhile, the Bombers have been hit again! Just fined $20,000 for breaking AFL player rules. Essendon apparently breached the List Lodgement Rules, when unlisted players trained with them before last month's rookie draft. This on top of the $2 million the Bombers were fined in late August has brought the Essendon into significant debt for the first time in club history !

Not great news for Saints stakeholders!
St Kilda recently announced a season financial loss of more than $2.6 million.
They went backward with memberships - 2705 members short of the 2012 figure.
They sacked coach Scott Watters. Lost Nick Dal Santo to North Melbourne. Senior assistant coach Dean Laidley & high performance manager Bill Davoren, also departing.
Let's hope in 2014 the Saints get back on track.
