GEELONG CUP

2 MR CELEBRITY
10 BRAVE LANCER
8 MEN AT WORK
1 SHOW BARRY

Mr Celebrity only has to stay to win and Gai Waterhouse is too shrewd a trainer to start such a good horse in a race it couldn't win

Blinkers off Pacifiers on will see this fellow improve dramatically tomorrow !

Let Go Thommo meets Our Blitz 1.5kg worse beating that gelding 0.75len so you would think not much between the two.

Hi Pat! Expect further improvement from the lightly raced Let Go Thommo and be surprised if he doesn't win again tomorrow

Interange back in distance the hardest to beat from Sheradize who improved to win at 2nd race start (assuming he can go OK first-up)

The kind of race I normally try to avoid. A number of the horses have major gear changes, others are first-up and some others only have trial form. I think Metal Dancer has some ability but how he will perform tomorrow (2ndUp) is anyone’s guess.

Belmont 3

The Questilla1400M

1 Top Drive 8 56.5 Brad Parnham
2 Matinee Appeal 3 54.5 Jason Brown
3 On The Record 9 54.5 Link Robertson
4 The Den 5 54 Troy Turner
5 Dark Emblem 1 53.5 Damian Miller

9 Sharp And Sassy 6 53.5 Patrick Carbery
10 The Two Of Us 11 53.5 Kevin Forrester
11 Zanaforce 7 53.5 Jessica Valas

Prescribed should be better than these (but watch for any move for unraced stablemate Sharp And Sassy) Top Drive and Matinee Appeal both placed at Belmont last starts after winning out bush.

Was fancied and unlucky last start but personally hasn’t grabbed me as yet – backed and beaten too many times! I'll wait and see the outcome of the gear changes.

I intend to heed your advice WayOutWest – she’s had no luck at all 2 starts this time in – lost her rider at Belmont and then according to the steward report missed the start at York and then failed to handle the track!
