Seems old Philip Stokes worked abit of magic with Pride Of Archway,,,i backed this horse last time up in Darwin where he was wide the whole way and still battled on well..Usually i dont sack a horse unless it gives me reason to...I was to caught up in Plans who i thought in this company a good chance...missed a possible huge collect ...
the 1st4 had me pulling me hair out.... I had Plans/Bad Boys/POA on top but on my 2nd line i had Exalted ego then Jaffa Jonnie and On A jeune on the 3rd line..... so in my 1st 6 selections i have the 1st 4 but still miss it...and just look at that divie.... :( could have been a huge day...will go nuts thinking of the could have beens though.. close with Soi Cowboy....dam that Rawiller bloke ..hes got me a few times of late.. Raining here on Brissie .... was looking forward to Marhill running today..a nicely bred Danehill that i've been keeping an eye on.... I think on the slow Poiym a good chance...especially around this track... Hot Symbol ,,racing well...might be to short to back though.. Hot Symbol also won but to short for me... A few for tomorrow i'll be looking at Ipswich Palace Lover,,,,distance you'd think would suit,and the wet track,, Coquito Rose...loves the track,,,,i didnt mind her run in the slow way back when she was a maiden...... Musselbrook Xaar Xaar......made a stack of ground last start...usual pattern with this horse ,,just needs luck in running... Hi Filante....consistant horse...always puts himself in the race and should be at his peak,, Dubbo Windbreaker...very consistant horse...the whole Newtons Rings formlines reads well for this race,,,even taking into account the toppys 1st up form...exacta ? Good Luck all :) |
