New TV coverage bid fails

COUNTRY racegoers are still without pictures of Victorian and Sydney racing after yet another proposal from ThoroughVisioN to end the impasse with Sky Channel failed this week.

It is believed that TVN presented an offer to Sky Channel for both carriers to share pictures of Victorian and Sydney racing in return for the vision of these meetings to be made available to country viewers on Austar.

It would be an interim solution before both parties meet in court to thrash out their differences in May.
