I have an account with Ozbet & the NSW TAB, Desi. From memory applied online with the NSW TAB & then faxed them copies of necessary ID items - deposit by credit card or BPay, withdraw via cheque.

Desi 3rd March 2004 11:06 PM

Thanks for the assistance MyHatMycoat...I noticed sometimes that there can be considerable differences with the Divvies between states and that can affect profit margins..its hard enough trying to get on a winner..

Shaun 3rd March 2004 11:37 PM

hey Desi....forget the tabs....use one of the online betting agencies that offer best price of all tabs e-mail me and i will give you some links....

Cheers Shaun, will do!

Chenille Prince 6th March 2004 11:38 AM

Looking to bounce back after last start very disappointing run

Paddy 7th March 2004 07:47 AM

Excellent effort Chenille Prince, flooding home after racing wide for a greater part of the race – back on track

Chenille Prince 7th March 2004 10:35 AM

Yeh Paddy, a bit more luck & who knows
At least we are back on track

MyHatMyCoat

Thanks for your tips - you are on fire so far. Just backed Mungbean at $5.00 and Kilcoe at $6.00 for the place.

You have nearly talked me out of Kentiara in the 7th but i will still back it with your first couple of tips as savers. Once again well done on your tips so far.

Cheers
Collingwood

Merriguy 7th March 2004 05:16 PM

Hear, hear! And two out of three for the tris! Congrats.

collingwood 7th March 2004 06:35 PM

Another winner - Main Stage at over $10. Backed your 2 top picks and Kentiara and also boxed the 3 in a 20 unit exacta which paid $110 with IAS!!! A huge collect on the race.

Thanks once again.

Cheers
Collingwood

collingwood 7th March 2004 07:14 PM

Don't know why IAS aren't betting on the last?

MyHatMyCoat they must have heard about your tipping prowess today and packed up shop.

MyHatMyCoat 7th March 2004 08:04 PM

Thanks Collingwood & Merriguy. We did OK in 3 of the 7 races – enough to finish in front, depending on how you punted. Selections in the other 4 races not all too flash, some very disappointing runs - CALIFORNIUM did manage a place at nice odds in the 1st, same for SEEMINGLY RICH in the 6th. That’s racing.

Desi 8th March 2004 02:54 AM

Geez! Wish I had seen your picks MyHat MyCoat before I made my bets needed some of your place bets and I would have struck a few trifectas...c'est la vie! Next time as they always say...

Paddy 11th March 2004 09:09 AM

Looks like John Egan has completed his working holiday in WA, winless  No doubt John & those concerned would be a litte disappointed.

Legend18 12th March 2004 11:56 AM

Any tips for ascot tomorrow guys? Look at Tribella's barrier draw... poor thing..

Desi 13th March 2004 04:05 AM

Legend, Moontalk in the first is a course and distance specialist....SJ Millers back riding and of course Vern is a top trainer...short odds unfortunately...good luck and good punting!

Paddy 13th March 2004 07:39 AM

Redwoldt looks under odds in the 3rd, not saying he can't win, but he will have to work hard with the likes of My Leo & Seton Hill (value) hard to beat.

In race 6 I was impressed with the last start winning performance of Lilac Hill. If she can handle the step up to weekend class, could easily make it 3 in a row.

Tribulations in the last, looks a good EW be

Legend18 13th March 2004 10:08 AM

Yep Moon Talk looks good for me. And Redwoldt definately will be under the odds, so my moneys on My Leo. Race 4's pretty tough.. Rulain's finally drawn a decent barrier so maybe this is his race.

Race 5, Covertly and Foxaround too short for me.. So I'll go Miss Dansk who ran a good 2nd behind Foxaround.

Race 6, well.. who knows

Legend18 14th March 2004 04:37 PM

Go HOT SHOT BROTHER! Mr Callahan or Kaprats places as well

Chenille Prince 15th March 2004 08:38 AM

If I can get EW odds for Hot Shot Brother, I'll be more than happy. A little saver on Polygram EW.

BettyBoop 16th March 2004 09:30 AM

Quite a number here like the Bunbury track – Finito, Polygram & Poliwhirl are all undefeated at the track. Early Express, Kensyl Bay, Mr Callahan & Fred Who, have all raced well at Bunbury previously. Both Kensyl Bay & Fred Who are likely to be very good odds.

I’m expecting Paul Harvey to take Early Express to an early lead from a very wide draw and be very hard to beat. Think Hot Shot Brother will sit on the pace, and be just a little too strong. Mapperholic for 3rd. Have to have a little EW on one of my favs – Tribula with Alana onboard.

Raw Instinct 16th March 2004 06:05 PM

I like Poliwhirl, Tribal Secret, Finito and Mapperholic going to have some on Poliwhirl though with a triffecta.

Raw Instinct 16th March 2004 06:16 PM

Well sure enough the horse I have probably backed the most in WA Finito gets up and wins the one time I decide not to back it at a great price to oh will I ever learn.

Hot Shot Brother - 2nd last, beaten over 10 lens - completely out of character - something must have gone amiss :???:

Paddy 17th March 2004 09:00 AM

A couple for St. Patrick's Day - enjoy the day if you are celebrating (I'm the one without the inside-out T, Mr Guinness)

Paddy 17th March 2004 09:04 AM

Paddy was driving his lorry when he saw a bridge with a sign saying 10 foot max. headroom.

He slowed down wondering if he could drive under it or not , 'A shure I'll give it a go,he thought only to find that his lorry got stuck underneath it.

Paddy sat back in his seat, poured out a cup of tea and lit a cigarette.

A policeman arrived a short time later and knocked on the cab door which Paddy then opened, 'what do you think you are doing? asked the policeman in a sharp tone,

'Sure I'm having me tea break, replied Paddy,

'And what do you work at? asked the policeman,

'Agh shure I deliver bridges,! smiled Paddy!

Paddy 17th March 2004 09:06 AM

Paddy and Mick were nailing up the side of a wooden house.

Mick noticed that Paddy was examining the nails and throwing away every second and third.

'What's wrong with the nails?' he asked.

'Sure the heads are at the wrong end.'

'You are stupid you idiot, can't you see they are for the other side of the house!.

Chenille Prince 17th March 2004 09:44 AM

Not bad Paddy

I’m tipping Wool Zone. Caught wide most of the way in the Pinjarra Cup, but still managed a place. Even fitter following that run – he’ll do me EW at the 11/2 currently on offer. Load and Lockett, Main Stage & Kentiara to fight out the places.

Chenille Prince 17th March 2004 09:46 AM

Yeah, a shocker by Hot Shot Brother

BettyBoop 17th March 2004 03:06 PM

Hope I can improve on yesterday's effort

Main Stage, racing in very best form, the one to beat. Wool Zone a big danger. Local Product for 3rd. Include Kiwi Hombre at value.

And good luck to L&L - undefeated at Bunbury.

loadandlockett 17th March 2004 07:41 PM

loadandlockett will run the race of his life.......go you good thing!!!!

Paddy 18th March 2004 09:34 AM

Come on, close those blinds, not so heavy on the keyboard – some of us are a bit seedy this morning.

Bad enough writing oneself off, but certainly doesn’t help matters when you’ve finally running out of drinkin money, when along comes the omen bet of the day - KILLARNEY MAGIC & DANCING PADDY in Ballarat dog 6. We made a nice profit & of course continued on drinkin – oh my head!

For what it’s worth (not thinking straight) suggest Kentiara the one to beat today. Load and Lockett strong chance if you forget his last run failure. Main Stage and Wool Zone to fill the top 4.

Luck in running to L&L

Now excuse me I feel an up-&-under coming on.

Paddy 18th March 2004 09:49 AM

That's a bit better!

Now before I go have a lay down, (14) Lombo Choice EW in the 9th & (7) Grand Cavalier & (13) Tribulations EW in the last
