I saw Rasmussens win over 1350 and felt he was weak late, looked a 1200m horse tops. A query over 1200m first up? With Elegant Roi drawn wide & the kiwi Sam, there might be plenty of pressure up front, I felt that Nexgen might round them up, query the jock but looks a blow out race to me.

I think your spot on about Takeover Target. Best horse in race, suited over 1200m at Doomben. Could improve heaps on 1st up run. Also agree re Mitanni. Im keen on him over the 1350m in the 10,000 & the hcp conditions in the Straddie. Maybe they wont go to the well today? As for Bentley, is he that good?? He rates well , but i'm not so convinced, that ratings mob reckon he's the best horse in Aus now, but surely TT has a few on him at his top.
