Going for an Andrews / Harvey double hey partypooper?

Don’t expect either to be fully wound up yet but both have good records fresh.

Barrier a bit of a concern with Manjar so will need a bit of luck in what looks to be a very open race on paper. Not a bad field of 3YOs.

The task for Modem’s half brother has been made easier with the scratching of Scenic Assault.

As for my username, long story and don't think suitable subject matter for this thread.

Belmont 1

I'm tipping a maiden to win the first (a maiden at Belmont that is!) no 5 Island Force. Been about the place and last start 2nd behind Danzadash was good enough to win this.

roman@oz 22nd October 2005 12:29 PM

Belmont 2

No 2 Startego has a great first-up record and goes very well this track and distance no 1 Danzadash undefeated this campaign also likes the track and distance no 7 Terror Torrian will most likely lead and if the others loaf could pinch it.

And the fuss and hullabaloo continues  He’s been scratched from the Melbourne Cup yet has mysteriously reappeared on WA fixed showing 20/1 and betting is still showing as ‘suspended’ on other fixed markets even though the press reported him as ‘scratched’ last Thursday.

WELL a start HAS NOT been ruled out and trainer Lindsey Smith may start him in the in the McKinnon Stakes next Saturday, and depending how he pulls up may still start in the big one. AND just to add to the intrigue a group of WA owners have nearly finalised a deal to buy managing part-owner Janelle Harvey's share in the horse.

I love it!!! ;)

Coronga's win gave trainer Paul Perry a hat-trick for this race Perry had previously won with Kbenjar and Chester County!

solid win by Coronga!

The word is that part-owner Elio Galante is forming or has formed a syndicate to back an offer of more than $1 million to buy out the 60% cent share held by managing owner Janelle Harvey. Only condition is that Plastered undergoes a thorough vet examination over the next fews days and is passed sound.

wow! that is big news!!

sportznovice 23rd October 2005 07:39 AM

$1million bucks

My first reaction when I read your posts was Gee! $1million bucks is a lot a moolah! especially for something like only ½ a share and of a gelding. But on closer reflection Plastered is still young and he’s already won prize-money in excess of $1.5 mill. Maybe Janelle Harvey should be holding out for more!

gum stumpa 23rd October 2005 08:45 AM

Hasn’t being doing much this time around perhaps $1 million bucks is too much! :D

Gee hasn’t SIKMREX improved his form since they started riding him with more patience. I can remember the days when they used to dash him to the lead and go helter skelter and of course he would capitulate to various degrees in the concluding stages

I am also interested in Chaud Roche at the valley and GO RAILINGS!!! in the mel. cup!

Aaron.

I think young William let My Leo get too far back early in the race westwinners / Aaron as a result gave them too much start. Warming up nicely at the end was a positive. Key’s Ace ran a top race but the odds-on fav proved just a bit too strong.
