What's this all about? Don't tell me you're using FootyTab???

I'll let you include the Premier League game in your bets, but you can't use FootyTab though. It's got to be one of the regular fixed odds bets.

Chuck 2nd October 2005 09:41 AM

boo hoo

$4 Tigers by 8 @ $21.00 x Roosters 1-12 @ $3.75 = $315.00

Sportz 2nd October 2005 09:48 AM

Hey Chuck, I've got your balance at $5.27, not $4.27, so do you want to put $5 on that double???

Chuck 2nd October 2005 10:11 AM

actually, scrap the bet and make it

Wow!!!!!!

Talk about leaving it till the last minute. Literally!!! The very last minute of the NRL Grand Final and Kiwi's bet of Todd Peyton to score the last try has seen him come from the clouds to snatch victory!!! Much like his namesake in the Melbourne Cup back in 83!

Well done Kiwi. Congratulations!!! :D

I hope everyone had some fun doing this. It's been a challenge running it. Now I can have a rest for a few months! :D

Betsy 2nd October 2005 08:51 PM

Haha, well done kiwi - I knew someone would pull off the unthinkable with everyone having a go at huge longshots.

Im sure I speak for all participats when I say a big thankyou to Sportz for running the comp. I can't imagine trying to keep up with everyones bets while keeping up-to-date records of it all. Thankyou Sportz and well done kiwi

Sportz 2nd October 2005 09:00 PM

By the way, I should have also said well done to Discipline pays, Betsy and TheBookie. I don't think Kiwi will mind me saying that despite his win, those 3 tipsters were probably the most consistent punters throughout the competition.

Anyway, thanks to everyone for having a go. It was good fun! :)

thebookie 2nd October 2005 09:22 PM

Well done Kiwi and thanks also to Sportz-was a good bit of fun! :)

Jack Daniels 2nd October 2005 09:58 PM

Well done K1W1 !!!!! :D

Thankyou Sportz an excellent competition !!!!! :D

rabbitz 2nd October 2005 10:07 PM

Yeah, already have a few thoughts about a comp for next year, but let's have a rest for a few months. :D

kiwi 3rd October 2005 06:55 AM

Thanks guys, and a special thanks to Sportz for another great Comp.
Betsy Discipline Pays and especially The Bookie for consistant AFL tipping deserved it more.
At the end of a furious game i just thought a forward at huge odds might crash over and so it proved:D

DR RON 3rd October 2005 04:13 PM

Well done every body and thanks for the efoort sportz. Unfortunately I was laid up over the weekend with a back injury and was dosed up with a few painkillers so didnt know what was going on.

Sportz 3rd October 2005 04:21 PM

Hope you're better now.

DR RON 3rd October 2005 04:52 PM

Thanks sportz, a bit of physio today has done wonders.

Sportz 4th October 2005 03:46 AM

Just what the doctor ordered. :D

goldmember 4th October 2005 07:26 AM

Thanks for a great comp sportz, KIWI has definately lived up to his namesake , well done .

Sportz 30th January 2006 08:54 AM

Moderators,

You can make this thread "unsticky" :) now, because I'll be starting the 2006 punting comp soon. As I'm going to include more than just Football, I'll post it in the Gambling Forum.
