Actually, come to think of it, I didn't even like Lonhro to start with, probably because of him being SON of Octagonal and threatening Northerly, the only threat to the all dominating Sunline. At that point, Northerly needed to be freed up as he was the only thing on 4 legs who could challenge the damn mare.

i think he did a bit more tahn challenge her. he outpointed 3 times from 3 times at her favourite track/distance(s).

Well of course I would have liked to have worded it that way, but now that we're down the track, I'm betting there's a lot of Sunline fans that would argue to breakfast over that sort of thing.
