Well, when in doubt, Melbourne or Sydney wins out over Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth.

I wonder who came up with that phrase 'won with a leg in the air'? It's stupid.

Good question sportznut. I've always assumed it meant that the winner had so much on them, that it only needed to use 3 legs to get over the line. But I could be mistaken :wink:

You're right Umrum but not often do you get gallopers paying less then $1.50, dont know why plenty of trotters go around at these short quotes.
