I'm pretty sure I had Wonderful World in my stable at the beginning of the comp and got rid of him after those two terrible runs in Sydney. I had Excites in my stable back then too. :(

well if i could make one criticism of the comp its the picking horses 2 days before they run, i.e. thursday.....i do my form on friday so i haven't really got the winner in mind, plus there is often changes to fields etc. so it can be a hassle not knowing who to pick :(

Well, that's the challenge.

The original reason for that rule was that it makes things much easier for me to run the comp. But even without that, I still think it's a good rule, because it makes selecting your new horses tougher than if we all did it on Friday night.
