hi everyone
i'm partial to last start winners and this ones form around 2000-2200 isn't too bad( but not good around bunbury) bunbury r7 #8 dundally from #1 main stage #4 L + L cya |
I think dundally should run a good race.. I was very impressed when he edged out Noon on saturday.. and therefore looks like he'll appreciate the extra distance. Dundally or Load and Lockett for me, and i suppose i have to chuck main stage 3rd in as well
|
Main Stage and Kentiara the "main" two to beat again.
|
Woohoooooooo Load And Lockett!!! Wat a race!

MAGIC!!! Forgot my hangover & all  The race of his life, loadandlockett, not an overstatement! Thanks for the input loadandlockett  |
What a great thread! Winner, winners, winners!
Congratulations to all those who continually post & thanks. |
Enjoy the moment loadandlockett, I certainly did
How was the old heart going, as they hit the line? |
A great couple of days - just love Bunbury this time of year. Just got back, already looking forward to next year.
What a finish, thought Dundally was going to win at one stage - top ride by young Parnham - great rails run, looked to hit the lead momentarily, but the other two fought back. What's next loadandlockett, out for a well deserved spell. _________________ OH GOLLY GOSH! [ This Message was edited by: MyHatMyCoat on 2004-03-18 23:45 ] |
Congrats Load and Lockett...hope the night is a big one! Have a couple of Emus for me mate!

Richard Caddies suspended until midnight Monday April 5. Ivo Fry suspended until midnight Thursday April 3. William Pike suspended until midnight Sunday April 11. Misty Parsons had been suspended earlier - until midnight Saturday March 27, as was Jason Miller & Troy Turner, with both returning Friday this week. Yes Chenille Prince, not one of Harvey's better rides, does seem to be a bit out-of-form :???: _________________ All the best from the West Sandgroper  [ This Message was edited by: Sandgroper on 2004-03-23 10:15 ] [ This Message was edited by: Sandgroper on 2004-03-23 10:15 ] |

Volition, Price Regal & Purple Vision should fight out todays' Heytesbury Stud Classic at Pinjarra
|
Tend to agree with you Paddy.
On paper look the main chances. A couple of unraced - maybe watch any betting move. James The Jet & perhaps Lust For Dust, should be suited by the step up in distance. |
Thanks Chenille Prince, glad you dropped in
|
No worries Paddy.
Paid $39.80 & $6.30 over here, couldn't resist  Noticed paid a lot less in NSW You must have plonked a bit on Paddy! |

WA Oaks (2400M) final acceptors (race this Sat) and early riding engagements
Amica Belle Bolasque Fatal Attraction, P Harvey Happy Talk, J Miller Hecatomb, J Whiting Kymtu Miss Memphis Moonfire, T Turner Pennywest, J Brown Pentamerous, L Robertson Spirit Lady Stage Doll, A Sansom Storyland, P Knuckey At first glance Stage Doll, Pennywest & Moonfire look the main hopes. |
Can only see just the 2 rides for the pontiff today at Ascot - most surprising!

Will stick to my original thoughts - Stage Doll, Pennywest & Moonfire.
Field looks a little below par for a Grp II. What chance the lightly raced Fatal Attraction with the pontiff on top? |
Well if you fancy Stage Doll, you'd have to at least have a saver on the "pontif" ...but lightly raced maiden?, who knows, the girls can do funny things with a bit of sun on their backs, and it's forcast 30c tomorrow.
But MY choice for what it's worth is Kymtu |
Thanks partypooper. Yes Kymtu has done nothing wrong. Also lightly raced & was running on OK last start over 2200M. Will include.

What can I say, Dedicated Miss to continue on her winning way. Finito suited by the step up in distance. Main Stage to improve on his last start effort. Lawmaker for 4th.
|
Yes Paddy Dedicated Miss does look almost a special, if she repeats her last run. I've just got a slight doubt over the 1800M though.
Wouldn't be surprised to see Corporate Bruce return to some form, his last run wasn't all that bad. And don't dismiss CP, not well in on the weights, but improving all the time  |

But I did have a good day, with both of my ratings based methods showing a profit and my PLACE system (detailed in Systems forum coming up with 100%) can't do much better than that,........ ok, ok yes I know thats only one day .. but still Prince Of Vasac paid VERY well |
You ARE going extra well partypooper  especially for a luney tune

VOLITION an early scratching.
The girls look a wee bit stronger than the fellas. COVERTLY (with the pontiff aboard) just over REFEMME. COVERTLY meets REFEMME better at the weights & should turn the table. Both drawn a bit wide, but hopefully will settle around midfield, and be too strong for the rest in the run home. Best of the fellas - LOCAL LEGEND & REDWOLDT. Both also drawn wide but should have the pace to settle just off the lead. The undefeated STORMY NOVA has blinkers added & is worth throwing into your multiples. |
Are you guys on holiday over there in the west? Not seen much of you of late! Any thoughts on the KARRAKATTA PLATE.
What about the Derby on Monday - not a bad field. |
