Sportz 13th April 2007 12:21 PM

Yeah, you needed to have a runner in the cup.

So, I guess it's congratulations to......... ME! :)

Seriously though, thanks to everyone who had a go.

I guess I'll be back again with another Fantasy Racing comp in the spring. I like the idea of horses being owned by just one person, but I'm going to work out a different way of choosing them which I think will be a bit fairer than the system used this time.

Raw Instinct 14th April 2007 09:31 PM

Well Done Sportz much deserved

Just an idea for a future comp maybe you could use a draft type system and just change the order for the different age groups to give everyone a chance at the top horses.

Congrats. Sportz. Great job in running this and a deserved win too!

Chuck 14th April 2007 10:31 PM

Very well done Sportz!!!

It seems you were quite correct at the beginning of the comp when you said not to go for the big $900k horses but pick a few nice types at good odds.

I really liked the 1 horse / 1 person idea as well

looking forward to the spring :D
