WAOS 5th November 2005 11:40 AM

Ascot today

R1 GREY JANE HANDICAP

Going for Old Glory EW in what is a pretty weak race.
Two runs following a spell should have her about right and has raced well at Ascot in the past.

WAOS 5th November 2005 11:51 AM

Ascot today

R2 PROSPECT SKY HANDICAP

The lightly raced Don't Say Halo 4YO gelding Our Grey Halo was a beaten fav at his last appearance just running out of condition over the last bit. Fitter for that hitout and the smallish field today should suit. Should be too good for this lot.

WAOS 5th November 2005 12:40 PM

Ascot today

R3 GLENFLORRIE HANDICAP

Very impressed with the Catbird gelding CATS FUN since returning from a spell. Won past 2 starts in the country in good fashion and the extra distance today should suit. EW.

THE AGE CLASSIC

Current WA with 20 mins to start time:

1 5.20 1.80 CAPE OF GOOD HOPE
2 11.90 3.30 DANCE HERO
3 27.80 5.00 BOMBER BILL

DANCE HERO, TAKEOVER TARGET, STRATUM and JET SPUR all look to be paying overs imo

Wow Queen Of The Hill's very short, didn't rate her in my main selections, might now include her in some multis just in case.

WAOS 5th November 2005 01:08 PM

Ascot today

R4 AZABU PRINCESS HANDICAP

Blinkers come off the Fred Kersley trained METALDALE so assume a positive move. Goes well fresh, drawn well and Ascot has been a happy hunting ground for this Metal Storm 4YO.

westman 5th November 2005 01:11 PM

should go well

They all look good to me so far WAOS, all already included in my bundle :)

WAOS 5th November 2005 01:12 PM

Now I know why I didn't include her! Not to worry the profit made more than covers the last minute extra outlay :D

WAOS 5th November 2005 01:39 PM

Ascot today

R5 RANTAVE HANDICAP

The ELLICORSAM of old would eat these over the 1000 but not prepared to take skinny odds given she is resuming from an injury enforced spell. A lot resuming so might have a saver on GOBITON who has a nice draw and should be suited by the fast pace.

WAOS 5th November 2005 02:06 PM

Ascot today

R6 FAIRETHA STAKES

Expecting Manjar and Ripped to dominate the market for this and both have undeniable chances. But going for value with the Doctor Johnson gelding FOR SHAME. Has finished close to both Manjar and Ripped in recent starts and I feel he might have more scope for improvement over the other two.

WAOS 5th November 2005 03:16 PM

Ascot today

R7 BURGESS QUEEN STAKES

LADY NATASHA won the listed Lindsay Rosenthal Stakes back in June beating a couple of handy males in Manjar and For Shame. That was on a heavy but did perform well first-up on a fast before that. Good enough form to win this.

Not beaten far by the winner but did look to have every chance. On the plus side will strip fitter for his next assignment.
