R8 VICTORY DASH WELTER

FIELD COMMANDER should be ready to produce his best. Disappointing last start when he showed no real dash but start before rattled home late behind Legend Express over 1200. Good form this track EW in a very hard race.

Well it's hold all tickets while they confirm if It's A Legend received a fair start. Looks like we ran 2nd again behind the fav. Cat's Fun was coming again at the end but looks we've missed by a lip.

Gobiton fought on doggedly. Good run. Elli cut up badly, didn't have her own way in front. Electic extremely unlucky, caught up on the fence behind the winner.

Well that should have tested Elli's physical soundness! Hope she pulls up OK.

Blimey you were a bit unlucky there purplepassion!

Winner Snacking on top with outsiders Wave Rock and Moondalo finishing as you predicted - 3rd and 4th. Top effort!!

PrinceJudea 6th November 2005 10:55 AM

That has to be the worst kind of result (excluding collecting on the winner). Missing 2nd possie means no multi returns even though you done such a good job filling all the other places!!

Lord Plantagenet and Another Mary (2nd), Great Beau (4th) and College Dean (6th) make up the grey brigade at Mt Barker today.

R3 - Broccodile
R4 - Truck Talk
R5 - Dash Of Soda
R6 - Dels Echo

Manjar

Who said you can’t make money owning a racehorse!?

Would you believe Manjar cost only $7,500 and has already won almost $200,000!

And he should add to that total with some Guineas prize-money in a couple weeks time.

There were some big wraps for Truck Talk early in his career but has never lived up to expectations! Another round of racing starts for him today and I'm sure it would be great for all concerned if he could perform somewhere near his true ability. Will be including in my swag.

In that same heat the above average Tribu mare Grasspatch Girl is set to hit the track after a 5month break. Finished off her last campaign with a strong 3rd behind another above average mare Miss Andretti.
