I still don't think he wants it over 2000 but in saying that if the mighty mare wasn't there he wouldv'e won a WFA G1 by 2 lengths. I did underrate her b4 the race, i.e using Winning Belle as a formline, and taking into account her last Sydney campaign, which wasn't stunning. She deserves all the accolades she gets. Beat the world and bring her back for the Cox Plate, she'd give it a huge shake.

Like everyone else I've been in awe of the Diva's last 2 runs. If she was mine I wouldn't be mucking around with 2 mile races in Japan. I'd be buying Freedman an English-French dictionary and heading straight for the Arc de Triomphe. I reckon she's Australia's best-ever chance in the world's top race.
