Nice tipping Geez

Paddy 3rd October 2004 09:31 AM

Yes well done indeed Geez!

Made up for my dismal effort!

Both winners! - $14.20 & $16.40 over here.
And the extra double to boot - $159.20

Good onya!!

Geez 3rd October 2004 10:42 PM

Cheers Chenille Prince / Paddy.

Didn't pay as well over here Paddy, but not complaining

demister jay 4th October 2004 01:54 AM

Couple of very good runs on Saturday at Belmont - Track Jester and Just For Sam. Both have had a few injury problems, so good to see back on track. Just For Sam in particular looks a promising type.

Sandgroper 5th October 2004 02:15 PM

They were good runs demister jay, worth following.

Speaking of which, by far the best run of the day at Belmont yesterday was Silver Rolls. Now 3 from 3 and looks very promising.

Was at the course yesterday Sandgroper (very small crowd!) and do agree Silver Rolls won very well.

There was also plenty of money around for newcomer Not So Square in the 2nd. Very nice run, only warming up over the last bit to finish 3rd only beaten .75L

FremantleDoctor 6th October 2004 01:06 PM

Good to see the Fred Kersley trained Tennilla break her maiden status (at her 28th start) on Monday. Being a maiden didn't deter her backers - opened around $12 on the tote for a final dividend of $7.40. IMO capable of going on with it.

Any help appreciated.

Make or break for Ellicorsam. Better field than the Hannans and she also up a lot in weight. EG meets Dead Eye Dick 2.5kgs worse than when they last met in that race.

In the last today. Obviously strong chance but might be short.

demister jay 20th October 2004 06:53 PM

Currently showing $2.60 win $1.40 place.
Tri 7-F-F and quartet with 7-2,5-F-F might the way to go.

Very disappointing demister jay, didn't get into the race at all. Blinkers could go on. Trainer told stewards after the race that he was of the opinion that Silver Rolls had failed to concentrate.

3 RIVER MIST G E Daly P D Knuckey 4 55.5

The bottom weight anywhere near fit (racing first-up) would be extremely hard to beat.

Royal Fire does look better than these on best form, but some question-mark first-up. Did win a recent barrier trial which is a plus.

Outside that horse, very open, so Secret Remedy not without a chance Paddy.
