Jack again! He's unreal!

Tatura
Tatura R8-1 Breif Eruption
Last start was in VRC St Ledger in April and well beaten, seemed to lose all form towards the end of his last preparation. This is a huge class drop. He is drawn wide, but if right should give this a huge shake. Looks as though 3's would be a good price from early markets. |
only the one tip around and the race is abandoned ...
looks like we've got the post spring blues . only the one tomorrow ..Lakadosh ..but i'm not expecting any great price.. Its good to have these quiet times..time to reflect on the carnival ..good to study the figures and see where i can improve.. Good time to go over the figures in each state..even each track... looking at my Trifecta , treble and first 4 results...and my Saturday and weekday figures,, one thing i'm very happy with is going 1x3 on my e/w's ..something i picked up on here from someone .. not much happening..heard a rumour about Starcraft starting in mile race in New York ?? ,,, poor thing races everywhere,, |
"Its good to have these quiet times..time to reflect on the carnival ..good to study the figures and see where i can improve..'
True Maverick.. I got absolutely caned on Saturday in all three states..just to finish off the carnival on a sober note. Pleased overall though..it can be a very trying time in Melbourne, and only one losing day in that lot. Sydney is my best hunting ground by far.. I've just had two days off, apart from two bets on Sunday which I put on very early a.m and let them go around for me. I find it good to have time out after a caning, and I used this morning to go back over all the figures and venues, and, importantly, look at the overall figures for the year thus far. Helps to keep things in perspective. plucked up the courage to see how my two bets on Sunday went and found that I snared a winner at good odds..elps make up for some of the 2nds I encountered on Sat and reinforces the confidence. lol Great to see Sportz and co doing well on Saturday, (and William seemed to be going well in Adelaide early) ... and how about that friendly Friedman family pulling a $560 double? I must also mention Feathers effoirts using Dale's variation on Crash's no brainer, to come up with some great wins. All the best everyone |

It's the only way I go e/way $1.40 place = profit..... :D |
Anyone compete in the AAP Sports and Racing Daily Challenge?
For those that are unaware you tip in each race of as many meetings as you like and get awarded points for 1st, 2nd and 3rd and compete against other tipsters. All tips must be in before the 1st race of the meeting. Single tips only. No prizes, except self-satisfaction and bragging rights. |
Hi Stix
"It's the only way I go e/way $1.40 place = profit..... :D"
Its the surest way for me to get 4ths to replace all the 2nds I currently get by win betting. LOL. anyone game enough to bet today? "not much happening..heard a rumour about Starcraft starting in mile race in New York ?? ,,, poor thing races everywhere,," looks like it will be joining Xcellent in the Dubai race..the worlds richest, according to ozeform |
who was it who tipped Walcha toady?...looks like it may run against an odds on pop in "with a chance"
Good luck ..you'll get a good price at least. All the best |

Sir Flex Got the first four |
A few for tomorrow..
Bendigo *Ascana....won at the track,,and last start was better than it looks..Melham rides the horse well...i'm prepared to take on Tosen Dandy who i think is the main danger..pretty open the cup and theres usually good value around.. Eagle Farm *Don't tell clang..i like this horse..ran on well last start over the shorter distance..the longer the better ...claims helps and she should be flying home at the end..the top 2 the dangers.. *As sir la ...won well last start...gets the gun run here again and should be to strong for this lot. Murray Bridge *Lemonade Parade,,,,waiting for this horse to resume..will be stronger over a little longer but has some class and should sprint well fresh..doesnt have to beat much here,,, Good luck all :) |
Mav,
Are you a bit mixed up? It's Lemonade Party which is running today. |

Having a look at the Bgo Cup....... like Tosen Dandy who looks well above these and Zacielo who had a good run in the SAAB. Also Ascana is a favorite of mine and loves the cut in the ground and has won here before. Think I'll be basing it around these. Good Luck People |
Bendigo now graded as Dead (11.42am)

Gday Stix... u have TD that far ahead of em? Being a cup, I am probably going to be wrong, but I can't find a place for him.. It will be that I take into account the last 3 SP's as a negative.... He has started at huge prices last couple...I thought Moodıs horse would be a chance in what is a hard race.. Caught Courting and True Courser have claims as well.. BUT IT IS A CUP and anything can happen :) for 4th I think at odds Garidar could be worth a look.. Having said that U are probably right with TD :) |

TD's 1st Aussie run in the Feehan was fair to say the least, took up the running and condition was always going to be this issue even over the 1600m. Cranbourne Cup run was a good run, where sat of the speed a bit more and ran on fairly. In the Cox plate, the track and conditions were against him. Would obviously prefer good going........ guess he's been running in some pretty classy affairs.... and with a bit more fitness should be a good chance. Besides, hate to see him return empty handed and end up as sushi (LOL!) :D Belzain is another that I'm considering now that the track has been upgraded, he loves the dead has won here and although up in grade has a nice barrier and has Blake onboard..... Maybe: 1 Tosen Dandy 5 Zacielo 12 Belzain 2 Ascana 4 Southern Crown hmmm...... Country Cups...... always hard  |
What about old Big Pat, anyone giving him a rough show going on what i considered to be a pretty good performance last start behind the likes of big bad bustling Show Barry etc?????
|
Im definately prepared to take on the toppy, its only won 1 race since 2002 and all but 1 of his wins has been at 1800 or under, not for me thanks....
Ill be leaning towards zacielo at this stage, super run in the saab and has the runs on the board over the distance. In what looks pretty open Id include ascana, big pat, true courser and belzain. Good luck guys.. |

My ratings are pretty weird for this race...... U are absolutely right about Country Cups... Tho I have been on Precise Timing this time in and he has been kind.. I agree with Belzain, has to be a chance (tho she is not a distance winner but has run a hole at her only go) ... I am a big fan of distance winners and the theory that horses tend to repeat.. So I threw all the names in the air and came up with this (these are different from my mechanical ratings) The numbers after the barrier is the distance record (WIN) 5. Zacielo (5) 3 for 2 8. True Courser (9) 1 for 1 3. Zedimbi (2) like the odds, and untried, pretty fair overs 12. Belzain (4) 1 place from 1 10. Garidar (13) 4/2 not a bad SR tho doesnt seem to like the track.. good overs I am a dill.. I was talking up Caught Courting, not realising it was scratched :) |
Toby laroan Looks great value in the first at brissie, might have a crack....
|
Ive been looking at it too..not worried by the 2nd up over 1600m?
oooh its close... |
