Suppose to be a class 6  - all starters but 1 are maidens (including Olitate) the other is a class 1. Olitate's trainer is ex WA jockette Paula Wagg, you might remember her.

Scratched today, race 4 tomorrow Pinjarra ;)

watsonnek 16th November 2005 06:42 PM

Next Ascot

Next at Ascot a nice race.
Kim Joy, Classy Grace, Sportivo and Dark Emblem look the main chances.
Might throw in Seymour Mist and Rustique and hope so value pops up.

From what I've read the problem's only materialised in recent times but who knows might have been around longer than first thought.

DCFC 16th November 2005 07:45 PM

Watevi

Watevi who I've mentioned a few times on this thread ran a reasonable race in the last at Ascot today. Took a couple of runs to come good last prep so expect marked improvement from next start onwards.

Plastered out for 12 months

The surgery is likely to keep Plastered out of racing for at least a year.

The worst case scenario is that the 2004 Victoria Derby winner's career is over after nine wins in 15 starts and stake earnings of $1.55 million.

And I thought I'd read the last page of this book......gollygumbuk.! the saga continues...!

Pinjarra 6

Race 6 tomorrow at Pinjarra looks a good betting race.
Stone Man will ensure a fast pace, the 1000m will be right up his alley if left alone in front. Cold Beer undefeated this prep and looks a nice type. West Riva Ika is resuming from a long spell but has gone well 'fresh' previously. Noble Pak been freshened and has the services of the pontiff. And there's Wild Frankie who is reported to have lots of ability but is still to show this on the track. And finally Capital Punishment and Miss Pavlinovich who both have their share of ability.

In a hard race going for Cold Beer just, from Stone Man, Noble Pak and Capital Punishment.

WesternForce 16th November 2005 11:25 PM

That class4 race (race 6) tomorrow has a better lot going around that most of the class6 races at Ascot today!

ALEE'S TAXI

I backed ALEE'S TAXI (7th tomorrow) when she ran 3rd in the listed Sheila Gwynne Stakes back in Feb. Hard to believe she's still a class 1.

Davi 16th November 2005 11:44 PM

Was one of the weakest Sheila Gwynne Stakes in years STILL she has been disappointing since. Must be a good chance of notching up her 2nd win tomorrow!

WayOutWest 16th November 2005 11:53 PM

Yep, agree. Might combine her with Run Benny Run and Golden Business as anchors in the novelties.
