Avenida Madero
Changing Lanes
Eastern Standard
Hartleys Dream

Covertly

Tough race the Lee Steere if Avenida Madero can reproduce her 1st up run behind Miss Andretti then she is going to be very hard to hold out she will however be getting along way back that is the main problem with her in this big field. Taking a trifecta in this with the top 3 on top and and the rest of them on the 2nd line but there are so many that I could have in there. One I want to put in there is Early Express was a very good horse to me in the past however I wonder if he has comeback as well as he once was. Will probably go e/w on one of my roughies aswell as backing Avenida Madero for the win.

mad 19th November 2005 06:54 PM

Onya Raw, was a great win and a nice divi to boot, which is always nice $$$$.

Raw Instinct 19th November 2005 06:57 PM

Nice result there geez she has a dynamic late sprint she just blew them away should have backed her for the railway at $17 before today no chance of those odds now couldn't believe she stayed at $7.40 here on unitab as it was.

Last race is a toughie I wouldn't completely throw out the chances of Ya Ya Effendi nice draw and it has some decent form in Sydney whether it is fully wouynd up for this or even close is another thing, Not to mention it doesn't exactly have a magnificent winning strike rate. Chenille Prince looks the best of the locals imo though I must admit I haven't paid as close attention as I would have liked to the WA racing lately.

Raw Instinct 19th November 2005 06:58 PM

Thanks Mad

Well Wild Classic ran a great race to finish 3rd paying $4.80 place. Based on EW that's 140% POT :)

Considering Scenic Shot received severe interference from the 1200m to the 800m and is part of an adjourned stewards inquiry I wouldn't give up on him either ;)

DCFC 21st November 2005 05:58 AM

Great effort AdrianLee! Well done!!

DCFC 21st November 2005 05:59 AM

TORRID AFFAIR

Another great effort by TORRID AFFAIR on Saturday. In the Guineas rattled home from near last to run 4th beaten only 1.75len. Start before similar effort in the Fairetha. The TJ Smith Trophy and possibly The FRUIT ‘N’ VEG both over 1800, are potentially winnable for this Don't Say Halo colt imo.

Placid Ark 21st November 2005 08:36 AM

AVENIDA MADERO

Avenida Madero who I’ve mentioned in a number of previous posts, put in a huge run to win the Lee Steere Stakes on Saturday. Looks set for her most successful campaign ever :)

WildWildWest 21st November 2005 09:53 AM

Ellicorsam

Looking at Ellicorsam’s performance Saturday & comparing against last year, she carried the same weight (55.5kg) in last years Lee Steere winning in 1:21:32 This year she’s run 1:22:58 in finishing 6th. Whilst I understand comparing race times is not necessarily an accurate exercise it does indicate just how much Elli is away from peak fitness. The winner by the way (Avenida Madero) ran 1:21:91.

Bearing in mind there are around 6 listed / group races (1200 -1400) over the Ascot summer carnival to come, if Elli can stay sound I’m sure she’ll earn her share of the prize money.

yeh finished 4th to Rapid Rancher who would you believe started 20/1 :D One of the little systems I follow - last start winner > 8/1 next start. Don't keep stats but I've had some handy collects ;)

Couldn’t agree more Placid Ark. And apart from the obvious black type races ahead there's also a couple of listed races just for fillies and mares that she could tackle.
