Congrats pop! The full-sister to Delago Brom looked good.
The Sandown Classic is the next target for Brom Felinity. The trainer is confident she will run out the trip (2400m). |

You would think the David Hayes trained Catechuchu should win this. Kisumu returning from a stint east might run a bold race. |

Perth Cup
Fav Black Tom on track for back-to-back Cup wins. Up 4kgs on his 2006 win but did win that race by 6 lens.
Zero Engagement looks well weighted & races as if the 2 miles will suit. Land N Stars a drifter in the market but did run 5th in this years Melb Cup & reported pulled up well after first run in WA. Respect race wide throughout only hit-out in WA & previously won the Brisbane Cup over the 2 miles. C B Cox Stakes deadheaters Daka's Gem & Scenic Shot drop in weight for this race. Coalseam not beaten far in the C B Cox Stakes. Previous form suggests a strong chance in this. |
A little surprised you've not mentioned either Pantani or Purde watsonnek.
Pantani is a dour stayer who is proven over the journey and Purde has been most unlucky in a couple of recent runs and deserves a big race success. Both will be definite inclusions in my cup betting. |
Had a good win on Black Tom last year, has to be the one to beat, but I'm a little concerned with the 56kgs, he will need to settle well.
Zero Engagement seems suited under the weight scale. Understand Respect will be off to NZ for another 2 miler after todays race  Obviously pulled up well after his Brisbane Cup win. I've backed Laetare with success a few times in the past, seems to have gone off the boil of late but at the odds worth a tote ticket EW. |

Perth Cup
My outsider for this race is Action Plan. Lightly raced & good run in the cup trial. Appears to be an out&out stayer. With the right run could surprise at huge odds.
