you think your in trouble?? i think the bloke im up against might have a bit of a chip on his shoulder and be keen to take it out on someone in this week of the comp. might have to study the form pretty hard this week so i dont get to embarrassed :S

Nah, no chips here mate. I get it all off my chest straight away and it's past and sorted. I'll still be trying to take you out though as I've missed a week. Nothing to do with chips on the shoulder :-)

Horse Whisperer 22nd August 2006 05:37 AM

all good crash i was just making a joke mate. good luck this weekend :P

Real Deal 22nd August 2006 03:01 PM

I havent been able to pick my nose of late, so i am guessing that my opponent on the weekend didn't put there tips in. Thats the only way i could have won. Look for me to get the persuader out from here in and really shake this comp right up.

33-1(should be 330-1) i'll have a nibble. $2.50 e-w

Ahhh yeah, that was actually a matter of much conjecture and controversy over the previous pages. Hopefully all is settled now though.

Yeah, well I can't really do anything about it now, but in any future competition, I think I'd probably make a small change to the points system to discourage people from picking a horse which is going to be around $1.10-$1.20. Or perhaps in future, I would bring in a rule to count any horse that started at less than $1.50 as a scratching. When I drew up the rules, I wasn't really thinking there would be a situation like this.

While I'm on the same page as my original tips, I think I'll scrub race 2 completely. The odds for anything won't be that hot because of the small field so it's a big risk for little bikkies going against the tin. My longshot is in the feature.

I'll put in r7 Noble Gaze [sub. Western Brace].

Thanks sportz.
