Nice one! Chenille Prince

Chenille Prince 16th May 2004 10:22 AM

Thanks boxhead, Paddy and BettyBoop, did have a good day yesterday, both here and over east.

Race 2 Higgins Gold a shade disappointing but would still follow. King Elvis unplaced, but not all that far away, might still bob up soon.

Race 3 Topweight On Target just pipped. Comet Castle 3rd $5.50 place. Frangipani Bay a shocker.

Race 4 Sabre Chief good win $5.70 / $2.20. Polish Pleasure well beaten. Give Me A Chance finally getting back to form - 2nd $10.80 place. Q$139.20, E$181.50.

Race 5 Urastat close 3rd. Rural Thunder back to form with a bang, 1st $65.80 / $12.00 and Dominic unplaced but ran on well beaten only 2.75len.

Race 6 The Right Money unplaced but running on very well late. Follow.

Race 7 Key Flyer extremely disappointing. Have to forgive and forget.

Race 8 Fav a shade disappointing. Same Freaky Kontiki. True And Correct flew home late to dead-heat for 3rd. Half place divi $4.80. Crystal Grey unplaced but progressing OK. Watch.

Paddy 17th May 2004 10:42 PM

Talk about small world. WA brood mare Deanna's Smile currently in foal to Choisir and dam of Load and Lockett (who can forget the fun we had with that horse this prep) is by the same sire of Smarty Jones - Smile.

Sandgroper 18th May 2004 11:00 PM

Amazing overs, hey Chenille Prince

Chenell, fantastic results, just wish I had my money on, me? ..... a mediocre day with a slight loss, mainly let down with Western Tycoon

Good EW chance anchor. Does his best work at Belmont and should be ready. Interesting race, might be a good value race, as there are a few others (at good odds) that also have a chance.

Legend18 22nd May 2004 02:02 AM

Hey guys.. hopefully ill have a better day than last week

Belmont

Race 1 Lady Sherifa, first up for a while but looks good
Race 2 You Are My Hero, coming right back into form, should run a good race
Race 4 Western Tycoon, forgive its last run
Race 5 Amba Ale, Waikopou Bay, Bon Royalle
Race 6 Clockwork Orange
Race 8 Dundally, My Thornbird, Our Big Paddy

Legend18 22nd May 2004 02:07 AM

I couldnt agree more with Clockwork Orange. Lets see how he goes

Chrome Prince 22nd May 2004 02:27 AM

Raise A Halo capable of tipping out Clockwork Orange and might find the 4kg rise in weight a bit too much.

This horse has failed in Listed company badly and Raise A Halo is dropping 4kgs but a horse on the improve.

Might be a big ask, but if the odds are there, be worth an eachway investment.

Legend18 22nd May 2004 04:31 PM

Plea Bargain.. i knew it!! Had good odds for once, was always going to win. Something went a miss with Clockwork Orange

Reported Northerly coming along well & back in stable. Stepping up to next level of return.

Sandgroper 24th May 2004 01:39 PM

Yes seems he is going well Paddy. Reported in the weekend press over here that Northerly resumes serious training today after a few weeks in the spelling paddock.

(11) Golden Delicious the hardest to beat. Impressive win first-up & looks set for a great campaign.

(1) Hardrada should go well first-up. Suited under the weight scale & likely fast race tempo.

(2) Irish Pride nice run first-up behind Golden Delicious. Normally does OK second-up

Looking at those in double figures, would include (12) Twilight Spy who should be race fit & was placed behind Golden Delicious at her last start.

All multiples covered by the thread.
Cheers fellow forum folk.

Legend18 29th May 2004 11:49 PM

On The Watch had a great run, paying 11.90/2.30.

Island View 4th, watch with more distance.

partypooper 30th May 2004 12:49 AM

Yes saw that Legend, paid even better here Well done!! sorry to say that I didn't take the pointer although had a bumper day with only 1 loser , (Golden Delicious) but then had a great place bet which covered the loss 10 fold. Didn't have a penny on Modem, (still kicking myself) had a small win bet on Big Dam, as well as 2 place bets on Cherry Blossom, and Tribula, and yes you guessed it, .... didn't take the tri not even for 50c

Legend18 30th May 2004 03:53 AM

heh.. thats always the way. Glad u had a good day
