good call primo, i know that the crows had a good record over there, but watching them recently i couldn't back them with monopoly money, keep on winning champ.

Goldmember, had 1 unit on the +13 and 0.5u on the outright. It ended up saving the day where I went 2-4 (but even thanks the outright on souths).

Souths hit back and take it. 1-0
Knights weren't even a chance. 1-1
Essendon getting slaughtered. 1-2
Adelaide letting the Eagles get away for a large lead, although I think they did pretty well to make it a more respectable scoreline. 1-3
Nice win on the Western Bulldogs. 2-3
Last of all was the killer canberra-cronulla match where I only needed the Sharks to convert that last try. Course the kick was from the sideline and horrible, and never looked like going over. 2-4

Does this look like a good bet...

Pick 6
Brisbane-West Coast-Port-Geelong-Fremantle-Melbourne

at $11 - is that good or is that good.
Give me a good reason not to make this bet, besides the possibility of an upset.

Well all I need now is Melbourne to win.

You should be asking yourself whether the bet is value. Since Melb is the fave, there is less likely to be value. Course the bookies aren't too sharp so Melbourne might very well be the play. I'll be on collingwood to cover the handicap though.

Where do you go to get the latest NRL,AFL scratchings ,the NRL official site is useless .Are there updated teamlists somewhere or do you just get them from reports

goldmember 14th June 2004 09:14 AM

Floydy, i listen to the big sports breakfast show on 2ky and they have any late changes [ from the teams on the NRL site on wednesday]on thursday and friday mornings from 7.30- 8.00am , and 2gb on saturdays and sundays at midday. As for the AFL,[we dont get much coverage up here] after the footy show on thursday nights i can only pick up any changes on the tv, sports tonight on ch 10 or any on the radio[only when the swans play] THAT SUX

I dont care whos on the bench as long as they are there but even the Club sites dont seem to tell you .You think they would .The knights site had Kennedy going to manly but still in the team ....winge whine bitch lol

goldmember 14th June 2004 09:36 AM

Him going to manly didn't make any differnce to being named in the team, he was 'supposed to be injured'as he always is,hmmm, maybe he is saving himself for manly??, only joking, here we call him the plastercine man

Kevin Sheedy sometimes names players, and then just before the start, there is a late replacement.
I believe there is a fine associated with late replacement.
