Oh yeah,welcome Primo.Noticed it's your first post.
I'm only a newbie as well but I love it here. Please don't hit and run. Cheers Mo. |
Hey Goldmember
These are the prices corresponding to your margins. Freo $1.50 - Ess $3.10 Hawks $1.20 - Ade $6 Eagles $1.10 - Rich $12 Kangas $1.80 - Pies $2.20 Bullies $1.50 - Swans $3 Melb $1.70 - Bris $2.45 Saints $1.02 - Carl $50 Those are to a true 100%. I like how we mucked around last week with the Port/Richmond game. Not because it turned out I was more right than you,but the pros we put for each team. Justifying how we came to a conclusion. C'mon lets do it again I'll start a post. Everybody extremely welcome to join in. Cheers Mo. |
On second thoughts Goldmember.
Many of your selections are so far off the mark I wonder what you were thinking. Maybe we wait until you get your breath back and see if you modify your margins somewhat. Apologies if those are in fact your carefully thought out selections. I don't think I see much value in the coming round except for the Kangaroos, but we appear to have similar thinking on this one. Cheers Mo. |
thank you for welcoming me, moe.

moeee, they were on the spot tips last sunday as the round was not finished[ st kilda was still playing] and i only put the scores in as a joke. I wouldn't tip seriously until thursday or friday when i find the in's and outs, anyway how could you say their way off the mark, who knows YOU may be way off the mark !or have you got next mondays paper?.
|
Does anybody seriously though that Essendon will not beat the dockers, and if they do win, it will be under 40 points, no?
I don't want any biased opinions either, if you're a fremantle supporter because i know alot of fans can do this. [ This Message was edited by: primo on 2004-05-28 21:10 ] |
On a lighter note I took Freeo +32.5 in my multi (See thread MULTIS) AND If you make bold predictions with such vigour you could end up in Sportznuts "Book of Fine Plump Birds" [ This Message was edited by: floydyboy on 2004-05-28 21:07 ] [ This Message was edited by: Floydyboy on 2004-05-28 21:22 ] |

Goldmember.
What was that you were saying about being Off The Mark? I'll take anyone on,except for rabbitz and possibly Primo. And Sportznut, who tends to put his tips in after the race. And Mr J,I'm starting to see a bit of a mist lifting about huge overlays. When you consider a selection way over the odds, you really need to find out what it is that made you think the bookies can be so wrong. If I find justification in my analysis, all to the good. But going over the figures could very well reveal missing data. Cheers Mo. |
