maverick1993 2nd September 2005 05:24 PM

Everythings A ok Boxy ..he'll be running ..just heard on Sky

saratoga samchaz 2nd September 2005 05:51 PM

Think Mummify can win tomorrow resuming? MY BUDDY mUMMY HAS been waiting for him to run since being scratched a couple weeks ago. Great card and can't wait to get down to business on it!

maverick1993 2nd September 2005 06:08 PM

Hi Saratoga ..thought Mummify a good chance if the track drys out a bit..
very open race this one..but i think the Freedman runners hold the key..

Sportz 2nd September 2005 06:09 PM

Dead track, likely to be good by tomorrow, Mav.

maverick1993 2nd September 2005 06:14 PM

Hey Sportz. Do you remember how well the Mummy has run first up in the past?

I usually put a lot of stock in a trainer of high status(ala Freedman) running first up in classy spots here in the states(example Alinghi) but do you think Mummy's well meant, or the 2 Europeans? They look classy but might be too short for them. Perlin looks ready to score. Tough race, tough card, tough game, eh? How is the track condition looking for Flem?

Sportz 2nd September 2005 10:17 PM

Drying out. Should be good by race time.

Mummify has had just a couple of minor placings from 6 first up runs and 3 minor placings from 7 starts at this distance. Do think it has some rough chance though.

It's the sort of race where a horse like Mummify, First Charter or Kindjhal could well run into a place, but personally, as far as the win is concerned, I rate them Perlin over Confectioner and Hollow Bullet.

Sportz 3rd September 2005 06:40 AM

Now the forecast is for showers, so the track probably won't dry out after all. Sorry. :o

Tenacious Spirit 3rd September 2005 08:08 AM

I reckon HB has been overated in the past, don;t reckon she is a genuine caulfield cup contender at all. BUT I reckon you will be able to get odds about hollow bullet today, and with the track being good she should, if she as good as a caulfield cup contender should be, she should win and if not be right in the finish. If she didn;t run well today i would be pretty concerned.

saratoga samchaz 3rd September 2005 10:10 AM

Thanks for that info Sportz. It's huge in my decision especially since my buddy, Mummy is going to unleash on Mummify and he is the biggest jinx. I like Perlin too, but I don't know about HB. Great card!

SR 2 Break the Barrier - e/w chance at least.

Was $7.10 - $3.50 shortening now though.

Similarly SR3 Coolroom Candidate - e/w.

Come on Nelly!

mad 3rd September 2005 11:50 AM

SR 3 Throw in Foxy Tyra as well

Desi 3rd September 2005 11:53 AM

Good call MM missed the race but Innes scored another...good luck for rest of day!!

If i had a million....

1,000,000 SR4 Stratum @ $1.10 for 100g's

mad 3rd September 2005 12:29 PM

$1.40 now, gonna be rich.

Woo-Hoo

mad 3rd September 2005 12:32 PM

Crap, anyone got another million i could borrow?

mad 3rd September 2005 12:42 PM

On a more serious note.

At this early stage Shania Dane $8.90 on Unitab.
Gotta be worth a flutter.

mad 3rd September 2005 12:53 PM

Question is, is it worth betting around Lotteria @ $2.90?

Seen worse prices out there today. Can anyone convince me one way or the other?

bl4dez 3rd September 2005 12:57 PM

HOLLOW BULLET and FASHIONS AFIELD will win =]

mad 3rd September 2005 01:04 PM

Mnemosyne at silly odds over Media for the sake of typing something 'till the Footy starts.

mad 3rd September 2005 01:56 PM

Oke Doke,
Sir Dex and Shania Dane to finish the day for me.
Hope all goes well for me and went well for you all.

No damn good with the g-g's,
Both dishlickers won, they are the best stayer / sprinter in Australia bar NONE!

As for the Dees, that was woeful, really pathetic.....Cricket season now.
I do not want to see Port make the GF. Hope its the Swans or Saints.
