Doomben race 7 Racetrack ew. Pretty weak C3 with just a few chances. Yet to win Doomben but placed a few times. Last run good and should be just about right fitness wise. Jimmy Byrne to ride.

TAREE RACE 7

Lord Limelight looks a nice ew bet! Has won this track & distance, 4th start after spell & more importantly has the services today of Allan Robinson who rides this fellow well.

Eagle Farm Wed 10 May

Don’t mind the look of the Eagle Farm program tomorrow (for value) but as I won’t have access to a computer tomorrow posting my EW selections (for the main races) based on a dead or better track.

R5 Pretty tough race but Mystikos looks well placed after the claim for Ric McMahon & from the good barrier will be right up on the pace. Liked the run of Happy Giggleson at the Sunshine Coast & although drawn wide has the pace to offset. Always wary of the enzed visitors to Brissie this time of year there’s a couple in this The Silence Sir & Markisa – worth a watch.

R6 Citico could break his duck at the Farm, drawn the marble & has the pace to take advantage. Forget Haight Ashbury’s last run at the Farm (race time good), held up in the straight. Drawn a bit wide but has the pace to offset.

R7 Abu Simbel goes well the Farm, last 2 runs there very good & placed all 3 starts the 2200. Lord Rupert goes extra well this course & has the claim for Rachel Mason who rides the horse well.

R8 A real open affair. Line By Line’s 2 starts since spell both very good, 1500 suits ideally tomorrow. Rum Dum very disappointing at Ipswich but is much better than that & expect a good show tomorrow.

R9 Rojah Silver should be suited first-up over the 1000 from a good draw. She’s All Greek also drawn well impressed last start at 2nd run back. Also suggest (for the multiples) Panzer, at best extremely hard to beat, Hialeah Star has pace to offset the wide alley & has the claim for Melanie Price, Star Groom likes the distance, 3rd start back & will be well ridden by Scott Seamer.

Enjoy the racing at the Farm! :)

Thanks glenn101, hope they go well for you.

I’m pretty keen on the 2nd emergency in the 4th - Billy Ripper. Likely looking for longer but will be suited back at the Farm. Should have won his last start and I note a jockey change ;) If he doesn't get a start then Stella Joy is the one to beat - she's been knocking on the door.

Could be a good quinella!

chubby 10th May 2006 06:51 AM

Don’t mind a couple EW Brisbane R3 today, Eagle Street – been knocking on the door and should settle just off the pace and Rojah Flower who fresh today will be pelting home last bit.

For those playing the exotics include Heitman Hill – the mail is this gelding is above average, Cigallo – extremely unlucky last start & will be charging home last bit, Design Award who will have benefited from a nice first-up run this track last month, and Kiss That Cat having 3rd run back today and trained by John Hawkes.

Sporty 10th May 2006 09:38 PM

TEMPLE JACK with 2 runs under his belt after a 5 mths break looks a good EW wager in Mackay R3. Nice run C6 Rockhampton last start and is meeting the winner of that race in this, far better at the weights.

RANDWICK 5

Don't mind a couple of 'roughies' ew in the next at Royal Randwick - (1) AIN'T SHE LOVELY and (9) RHYTHM DANCER. Tad more confident AIN'T SHE LOVELY. Suggest you use a 1x3 ratio for your punt if you like them as well.

SUNSHINE COAST SUNDAY

If Lipinski runs up to her last run (Doomben) she is the one to beat in race 7. EW.

That run was a big improvement on her previous best so suggest saving with Brave Action, Northern Force and Telfire if ew odds available, just in case Lipinski last run was a 'once-off'.

1st BRAVE ACTION $12.80 $3.30 unitab
3rd NORTHERN FORCE $2.60 unitab

LIPINSKI unplaced fav

ROCKHAMPTON

FASTNESS Rocky R8 having 3rd run back tomorrow looks ideally suited by the 1500 at this stage of his campaign. In a tough race he should provide good ew value.

Eagle Farm Wed 17 May

Well not too bad a result last week with She’s All Greek winning at around 3/1 and both Haight Ashbury and Rum Dum saluting at around 11/1.

Again looks to be plenty of EW value available at the Farm tomorrow provided you can crack a winner or three  so here are my thoughts (based on a dead or better track).

R1 On disclosed form looks to be three main hopes. Stella Dancer first-up, trained by John Hawkes. Miss Golden Girl ran a pearler at her debut Doomben early this month and now has the claim for Mandy Radecker. Scared also first-up but did do ok in a recent Doomben barrier trial. Of the others Bernashee is debuting (watch for any moves) and Youdidntseeme and Beau Velour are worth inclusion in your novelties.

R2 Eye Eye Silver should have won at his last start and will be ideally suited by the 1400 and the Farm. Main dangers Albuquerque not a bad debut at Doomben last month and did have support and Rory’s Thunder who didn’t have the best of luck last start but still ran on strongly at Doomben 1200 to finish 3rd.

R3 Liked the run of Big Bone Gal last start this track, every indication the 1400 will suit better. Jim Byrne’s engagement another positive factor.

R4 Main chances appear to be Red Shadow suited the 1600, the John Hawkes trained Attacks who will be improved by her last start placing 1600 Doomben, and Earla Margaret who finished just in front of Attacks last start.

R5 Miss Glamour Puss likes the Farm, goes well first-up and good trial earlier this month at Doomben. Sir Monashee goes very well the Farm and 1000. Taabinga Lass not far off a win. Others – Tarcutta does well over the 1000 and Jimidean could surprise while still fresh.

R8 Halluce’s Devotion big run Doomben 1200 last start and even better suited the 1400. Bikkie Tin Blues very nice run last start Doomben 1350 and the extra 50 in his favour. Moonbi Nymph overdue to break her duck at the Farm. And for your novelties the lightly raced Kings Way is fitter for his last start 2nd at Ballina, Bound To finished just behind Bikkie Tin Blues at his last start finishing off the race nicely and Roman Squire was last start maiden winner the Farm 1200 running on very well latter stages.

Enjoy the racing at the Farm! :)

Mav3000 18th May 2006 12:12 AM

Some good results Glenn in particular Bikkie Tin Blues..

Mav3000 18th May 2006 12:13 AM

A couple EW both HAWKESBURY..
R8 NO.1 GRANZIG
R9 NO. 8 FOLLOWS ME

Hopefully we will be smiling at the end of the day but not anywhere near as much as the punter who apparently plonked a kool 500K on Mundine The Man last night…what do ya reckon!?

crash 18th May 2006 08:05 AM

Going to have a good look at that GRANZIG's form mav. and see why he is letting punters down. Maybe it's his day. I'll report back after a look see.

crash 18th May 2006 08:56 AM

GRANDZIG
Not ideally drawn but is a mid-pacer and Creek is a good jock. 5% win SR and 44%p SR suggests the horse might be a pro. place getter. Plenty of perfect barriers, jockeys and cond't. in past runs in up to $60k races [2nd.] and just missing out, but doing the same in $10k races . Likes to 'smell the roses' I think and up against a smart new one today, Ruby Ranson [2w from 2starts] and also Nikolic on Just Grand. Not an easy race to line up.

'Follow me' is quick mav., but as a backmarker I hope the Jock can deal with barrier 1. Might get into a bit of bother. I like r9/7 Wolfman Jack for the win. and Forest Path looks good too.. Might be a quin or even a tri. tri in the 3 of them.

good luck.

Cheda 18th May 2006 09:02 AM

CHARLIE CHEESE

Ipsw8 Charlie Cheese – very good trck / distance form
