Fights tonight

All,

I have done a quick look through the fighters and come up with this list of selecitons for tonights fights. Lets hope I get a few right....

1. Bobby Antonakos v Jason Schubert – 65kg Catchweight – 4 rds

Bobby should take this easily. I expect a KO.

2. Domenic DeVanna v Clinton Simmonds – Middleweight – 4 rds (*This has been changed from 6 rds to 4 rds)

These two are fairly evenly matched. If I had to pick a fighter it will probably be Devanna.

3. Billy Dib v Arial Omongos – 58kg Catchweight – 4 rds

Arial has fought 2 for 2 Wins by KO's. Billy Dib is 10 fights for 10 Wins 6 by KO.

4. Kevin Price v ????? – Heavyweight – 4 rds

Don't know the other fighter ....

5. Danny Withers v Kane McKay – Light Heavyweight – 6 rds

Kane should win this on Points.

6. Peter Kazzi v Juan Phillips – Super Middleweight – 4 rds

Going to go out on a limb and say that Juan will win this on Points. He has had 4 fights for 4 losses but should break through for his first win here.

7. Mohammed Elomar v ???????

Don't know the other fighter ....

8. Adam Vella v Damien Smith – Middleweight – 6 rds

This will be a close match as well. Adam should bounce back from his only loss last fight in Germany though and win by KO.

9. Jason Cortis v Tyrone Tongia – Welterweight – 4 rds

Tyrone hasn't fought before so hard to judge the fight. I'll take Cortis just for his experience.

10. Jamie Withers v Garth Murray – Cruiserweight – 6 rds

Another tight fight but Garth to win on points.

11. John Hopoate v Frank Faasolo – Heavyweight – 4rds

Frank will win this fight. Hopoate will try to tackle and do other "illegal" moves to put off his opponent.

12. Ahmed Elomar v Arnel Porras – 58.5 kg Catchweight – 6 rds

Should be good by Ahmed will win on points.

13. Shane Cameron v Barthelemy Chukwuma – Heavyweight – 12 rds

This will be a sesnational fight and a good lead up to the last fight of the night. Shane to win by KO.

14. Anthony Mundine v Danny Green – Super Middleweight – 12 rds

Danny Green to SMASH Mundine.

Had a lot of respect for you Wesmip.
Not no more but.

Hope I don't have to come back to apologise though.

Shaun 17th May 2006 07:29 PM

I have been looking but not sure maybe 2EU or somone

Sportz 17th May 2006 07:38 PM

You mean there is actually more than one fight on!!!

wesmip1 17th May 2006 10:52 PM

moeee,

That was me hoping ... see the other thread where I put in my comment that green would win by KO or mundine would win on points.... as it was mundine got it easily on points.

A bit of a let down really as it would have been nice to see a KO.

For those that watched the pre-fights how good was Tyrone Tongia. He fought brilliantly for his first fight. As was Hopoate .. But it would have been a bit more interesting if the guy Hopa was fighting actually looked fit and threw a punch rather than the 47sec KO.

Good Luck.

Well that previous thread was one of your many contributions that made me respect your output.

You been doing much with greyhounds and Kennedy's Excel System?
Wonder where Kennedy got to?
Kennedy!...YOU OUT THERE?

moeee,

Still do a few greyhounds tips but not as many. Have a good strike rate at the moment of around 60% from over 100 races(thats for wins) Placing S/R is only 83%. Problem is that I only bet get a few bets a week if any at all and its a lot of work to do it.

I have found the greyhounds can be very easy if you are very very selective compared to the horses and trots. The problem is though that the filters usually pick dogs paying around $1.10 - $2.50. The POT is ok at around 40%-50%.

If you have Kennys earlier versions (they seem to work better), try only taking dogs showing less than $1.00 where all other dogs are showing $20+. You won't find many races but when they come up they usually win.

Good Luck.

"12. Ahmed Elomar v Arnel Porras – 58.5 kg Catchweight – 6 rds

dodgy dodgy decision
i think porras deserved to win, got the better punches in

wesmip1 18th May 2006 02:48 PM

That was a top fight to watch.
Yeah could have gone either way and I thought it might have been a draw.

How stupid did Ahmed Elomar look when he came out ...
