Horses to watch for this Spring?
Anyone got any horses that i should keep my eyes on this Spring?
|
Leica Falcon is the one i'm looking forward to seeing...also Racing to Win ...
and this Grey Swallow i keep hearing about, |
pretty obvious but paratroopers, eremein and leica falcon.
|
i'm getting really excited about Leica Falcon as well, already had some at $12 for the MC
|
Couple Ill be watching for:
Thin & Crispy think its improved out of site last prep and no reason why it cant keep it going and win a couple of decent races this spring. Our Smoking Joe after its last run 3rd against Eremein, that was a huge run and i think will surprise some ppl, especially if the amount of rain they have been getting down south sticks around. |
What about Antidotes (Bart Cummings) and Honalee have to keep an eye on these as-well
|
Lad of the Manor for me.
|
Guys, can anyone tell me if either I Got Chills or Nadeem have been retired?
|
I am going to be all over Our Smoking Joe this spring. Think it can definately win the MC if we get a bit of rain.

Ill second that, will be putting a bit on it when the odds come out. |
Well I can't wait to see Apache Cat again I love that horse if they can get him to settle better he might even get to the 2040m of the Cox Plate and be a chance here. IMO his only bad runs have been at the end of a prep when he has gone off.
|
Sir Monash this weekend?
Who does everyone like? Danerich Sassabe Super Elegant? |
bel danoro looked very promising last prep but failed to deliver. worth another chance. due sasso was incredible in the bule diamond prelude and could have a good one first up. i might be looking at those two for value
|
My money is on Due Sasso!
Did you see his Barrier trial at Cranbourne? |
Quote:
Yes. It was nothing special, but on unsuitable ground. |
Some others I am excited to see again are Minson, Gallant Tess, Excites, Mentallity & My Ladys Chamber
|
Antidotes in the first at Canterbury tomorrow, i heard from a pretty reliable source that it is a pretty good chance!
