Panthers very short for the reigning cellar-dweller!

I'm going to wait a while. Looking at those odds Geelong are not worth betting on neither is port. But let's get this season over with before we start thinking about next year.

yeah benny i agree..i just thought it was interesting the market they came up with
the bookies never really go out on a limb do they
even if geelong do win and then go on for a few years 5-2 is a bit short 367 odd days out

Looks like they're thinking that Freo will do what Geelong did this year. Last year, Geelong were heavily fancied to do well, but ended up not even making the finals. Same with Freo this year. Heavily fancied to do well, but didn't make the finals.

on a serious note though, for afl, kangaroos $26 and carlton (judd) $41 are overs.

nrl, storm $3.75 is great value, will definitely shorten. panthers $18 and titans $51 also nice

Heard that when the NRL went up late last year the only 2 teams backed then were the STORM and MANLY. When the AFL went up on monday,there was a big bet on HAWTHORN, not one of my teams though , does anyone think they are a good chance, might be worth a double with the Storm next year.

The Hawks are building nicely and will definately give it a shake next year.

Buddy Franklin will be one of the best next year!

Tried to get set with mates on golf trip last weekend for Geelong to win next 2 (2008 & 2009)...best on offer was 5/1..I wanted 10's...what do you reckon?
Reasoning...won AFL...won VFL...few retirements..surplus ruckmen.
