No 6 WEASEL WILL - Well drawn, likes this distance and track. Also meets Royal Code 2kg better on last run.

No 14 PURPLE GROOVE - Excels this track. Also well drawn. Drops 4.5kg on last run when good 2nd (running on hard) to Miss Zoe this course & distance.

No 16 ZVEZDA - From NZ, winner 8 from 12 starts. Impressive winning first start in Aus (Mornington) with 57.5kg. Drops a huge 6.5kg on that run, can only improve. Likes this distance and is also well drawn.

Zvezda was impossible to assess with any accuracy as NZ form is not rated. I'm just ignoring Scenic Peaks last run. He's very classy and it was out of character. I've also assessed him as improving slightly to produce his best rating this campaign. About the only horse that hasn't been over raced this prep. Hosannah - will the real one show herself today? Good value on her win 3 starts back.

With Pernod scratched, include (15) The Big Ask for value.
