Supertab ... NSW??
Yes, it's stupid question time again with Dr Joyce Twobets.
Because I have such a small number of bets per week it seems to me that it would pay me to be in as many different pools as possible for each bet. Now the stupid question I have is what is this NSW column on Betfair Advantage? I have an account at tab.com.au but that seems to be the Supertab pool. So where the heck is NSW Tab? See, said it was a stupid question. Any signs of assistance or sympathy would be much appreciated. |
Please....
Any thoughts at all.......please.
|
Both NSW and Vic both wxx.tab.com same set up different pools Unitab also has its own pool.
|
Ah So!
Thanks for that Crackone.
Still confused of course. I used to have a VicTab account and a NSW account but a year or two back they said I could have one or the other, not both. Also when you go to either NSWtab site or Vic you get the same Supertab Dividends not the so called NSW dividends as displayed on Betfair Advantage. What I really want to know is how do I access the NSW dividends as displayed on the advantage tool? |
|
Try I tried again
Tried that Try Try Again, it's the site I use every day. This gives me the Supertab prices not the wonderful NSW Divies.
This really is pretty silly ain't it? Is anyone on this forum actually using and getting these so called NSW dividends? Anyone at all?? |
racetab.com.au used to be it. I can't access any TAB site ATM.

TWOBETS,
I can't understand why you say that you were told that you cannot have both vic and nsw tab accounts. I have both and have had for a very long time, not that it's doing me any good today as both sites are down, not that it suprises me as the TAB sites are the worst of any of the betting and have continual problems basically every couple of days. |
Hi Twobets,
This works for me.You need two browsers on your 'puter(I use Firefox +Internet Explorer)Open both browsers and load one states site on one browser and the other states site on the other browser. Hope this helps Cheers |
Hi Twobets,
Go to the Vic Tab website On the top right hand side you can select your State Click on NSW Voila! |
Quote:
VIC TAB http://www.tab.com.au/Racing/Default.aspx?State=1 NSW TAB http://www.tab.com.au/Racing/Default.aspx?State=2 Taa-daa !! :D |
Taa Daa... But?
You are quite right Stix but both these channels are quoting the same Dividends.
the Supertab column on Betfair Racing Zone, not the NSW column. aaa? This really is fick in it. |
Sorry......!
|
On and on and on he goes!
So White Rabbit and peterpan, I thank you for your input but wonder whether as both of you use both Vic and NSW Tab sites do either of you actually get different dividends from both sites. If not, what's the point of having the two accounts.
See what I'm trying to do is get into a different pool of money, as the separate NSW column would suggest does exist. But where in tarnation is it !!!!!! |
Hi Twobets,
I went on the Vic Tab site and checked #1 Rand R7 and it is paying $22.80. I then My State (top RHS) and changed to TAB NSW as my preference. No1 R7 at Randwick is showing $38.70 Why not use Sportsbet to get the best of the 3 totes (or SP)? |
Twobets,
I really don't understand what you are doing when you say both sites have the same odds? As whiterabbit said if you want to have both sites open at the same time you have to use two browsers, I have nsw on firefox and vic on explorer and I can assure you there is different odds on each different site, plus also now you have the option of fixed odds on victab, which I am finding to be quite usefull as I do a lot of place betting on horses at the pointy end of the market, and hate the dreaded 1.04 after the jump. |
Let there be light!!!
Thanks peterpan you have finally got me to my senses.
If I go to both sights on different browsers I do get different dividends. It's only when I log on that they both default to Vic tabs dividends. I'll now try to open up an account in NSW again and see what I'm told. Thanks again for your perseverance with such a thicko. |
