Most likely the Mackinnon Stakes then The Cup for So You Think if he does well tomorrow

luv2bet 22nd October 2010 05:10 PM

what do you mean if !!!
will win whatever he chooses too...
absolute superstar

Horse Whisperer 22nd October 2010 05:25 PM

Luv2bet the comments in the paper this morning from Bart saying he doesnt want to lead and he wants a soft run tomorrow so the horse is cherry ripe for the melbourne cup makes me feel this is just another lead up race to the race he is actually being set for. I still think he is the best horse in the race but taking $1.50 for a horse in the cox plate who hasnt been set for the race might be asking for trouble.

luv2bet 22nd October 2010 09:06 PM

I agree totally with everything in your post, it is not a betting proposition at $1.50. It will win this under a hold, the horse doesnt have to try.
The cruising speed of this bloke is enormous, seeing him being put to sleep with his head tucked down is something else, stalking the leaders for 1600 metres and giving them windburn down the straight.
could be a few shortys get up. black cavier is a moral, shame hay list isnt running and I cant see anything getting near precedence either.
dont ya just love this time of the year!!!

Have included Wall Street in my novelties
Beat Ginga Dude most recent start,,that horse did it tough last week at Caulfield & still won

Hoping Shoot Out wins personally he was already one of my fav horses going around and even though I stand to win more if So You Think wins (can't believe they ever had $12 up about him). From everything I have heard from John Wallace he is expecting a much improved outing on his last effort where he thought he had been pretty soft on him in the lead up and thought he was under done for the turnbull. From what he was saying this morning no issues with that now he is cherry ripe I always felt that her and So You Think were the best 2 horses going to the race reckon it will turn out that way today aswell.

Wouldn't shock me to see Trusting and Captain Sonador getting home well with a chance at the placings either.
