an even bunch of dogs early with the exception of the #8 and a lessor degree the #4.
I'm thinking the inside two dogs will own the turn, #2 runs runs centre track, #4 is running well , just needs a little luck around the first turn, #6 is too short at the moment, performs better spk, should lengthen at post time.

woof43 9th July 2011 02:47 PM

Meadows Race 3

Box 1st Split Rating Rank
1 $8.46 4
2 $4.38 2
3 $2,000.00 8
4 $1,000.00 7
5 $112.99 5
6 $4.78 3
7 $175.44 6
8 $2.33 1
#1 has come up short on the expectation that it will race well from inside, its too short for how its performed up to date. #8 is the query dog but i'd expect to to show up for a long way.
I'm leaning towards the #6 just needs a clean balanced run thru the 1st turn to show up in this type of event.
#2 is well drawn and will be close to the lead is a little short on the fixed odds at this stage

moeee 9th July 2011 02:52 PM

RACE 5

4 REV LIMITER $3.5
8 RYKER BALE $4.5
1 HAMEL $5
3 BITTEN $9
2 ELLA PATCHE $12
7 AVERY BALE $20
6 PROVEN PONTIAC $25
5 TONTO JOHN $50

Starting to find some races where the field can be sorted into genuine chances.
Top 3 should find the winner.

Moeee I thought the #8 was poorly drawn and might cause some trouble out wide, I think the #3 will lead, and the #4 will have a good go at it at the finish, #1 has been racing in fair form but not right at its best for the 2nd sectionals for mine I like the #4 as well, but you need the current odds, #3 and #2 who races well at the extremes of box draw.

You made me go through all its latest replays , and I found nothing.

How is it poorly drawn?
And what possible trouble did you foresee?

I see it as leading safely , if not clearly.
I have #3 as having zero chance of leading Hamel from Box 1.

Moeee I think the #3 will lead

How do your figures support your summary?
#3 can't possibly lead the #1 on those figures.

You do this sort of thing all the time Woof43.
If you can't post figures that support your studies, don't bother posting the figures and stick with just the summary.
Because your summary makes your figures meaningless and simply useless.

It has never led from the box 8 after at least a half dozen goes, considering its led 18 times LTD and 15 times its been 2nd early considering its the 2nd best box on most tracks and the dog is clearly a good beginner, to me that raises some questions marks, I could tell you its times are slower the wider it starts off the track , even in stewards reports the dog scores a range of C4 to C11 for interference in those starts again consider it a good beginner and good beginners suffer less interference .

Again it's the most important figure in racing, its called Standard Deviation.

Remember there are 3 stages in a racers life, and the pointer that a racer is going thru a stage is the change in its std dev or variance, with the #1 its moved into one of those stages, although not a slow coach, one can expect it not to reach its best times again although it will be competitive in the right race or the right draw.

moeee 9th July 2011 04:48 PM

RACE 10

6 MOLLY MOLLOY $4.5
8 LARA'S ROCK $5.6
5 COOLANGATTA GOLD $6.8
4 SAINT BODDSMITH $8.4
1 JULIET BALE $9.5
2 SCUSAMI HOTEL $12
3 ZLATAN $12
7 JAMAICAN RUBY $16

Hopefully I have found a collect somewhere earlier tonight.

woof43 9th July 2011 04:53 PM

Thought you would have selected race 9, this could be the best wagering race of the night.

So how about posting the Standard Deviation figure beside the 1st Split figure then.
I'm very surprised to find that Bitten is consistently quicker than Hamel.

What actually are you posting anyway Woof43?
Is it the average split of its lifetime runs?

I shall be posting Race 9 , but will do it last , after Races 2 and 4 , which I need to do before they start.

To me , apart from the Races I won't be bothering with , Race 9 is surely the poorest quality of animal running tonight.
There are 2 animals I have never heard of , #1 and #5
That means any confidence I can have in my Market is very low , therefore , to me , the race is poor.

I am trying to learn the animals , but its hard when there are over 1500 animals in my database.
Until I can narrow down to close around 1000 , I will never be able to remember them.
And even then is hard for me with my poor memory.

Thats an edge, and something you have known about for so long and never bothered to investigate

Its not consistently quicker but has the capability to jump in front quite easily

Nice work Woof43.

An extra $20 in my kitty.
Thats 3 Races of my own I can mess up now without upsetting my Bank Account.

moeee 9th July 2011 07:13 PM

Howz the bloke at the studio at Sky Racing.
After an event at Wentworth Park he says that a terrible situation of an animal breaking its leg.
"I hope its allright" he says.

I guess it just shows that them guys are there to fill in the quiet bits with talking , without actually thinking about what it is they are saying.

Yes you messed up tonight.
But you will probably prove right the next time it draws Box 8.

But every race has its own peculiarities.
The only animal that is consistently quick in that race was Hamel , and I proved too clever in my posts.
But unfortunately not clever enough to Profit, and in fact lost badly on the race :(

Good work Moee, to steer away from the red dog.

moeee 9th July 2011 09:17 PM

Thanks , but still managed to mess up the race.
Not so much handicapping , but wagering again.

I'm thinking I need to make 4 lots of possible wagers.
The 4 scenarios would be what if the 1st...4th selection were to fall.

I'll try it tomorrow.

Average night tonight considering hardly any collects.
Grateful to come out square.

One to go :)

woof43 9th July 2011 09:20 PM

still got race 11 mate.

#8 a slow beginner two poor runs from the 8 box, and its a silly price

Buggar!!
I found 3 and 4 :(

Your selections are a little short for the way my nerves are at the minute.
I'll skip them and wish you all the best and perhaps catch you tomorrow.
