Rules are derived from Michaelg's "Lay the Fav?"



1) Default neurals except CF, TIM & DLR on a setting of zero.
2) Total points of top selection must be under 120.
3) Minimum of 9 runners
4) Lay the fave.(I beliieve this to be the BetFair Fav)



add the following:



5) If qualified rated horse is also Neural Fav(almost without doubt) then BACK it.



6) For qualified races go to R&S site page for each meeting and BACK the Morning line Fav



may be Neural Fav, but most often is not.



7) For qualified races go to R&S site page for each meeting and LAY the Worksheet Fav,



this also may be the Neural Fav but again most often is not.



8) For qualified races go to the UNITAB racing site and for each meeting BACK the FAV .



There are five possibles to choose from 3BACKS and 2LAYS, you can try them all, or any



combination thereof or any single option.



In honour of Michaelg's exhausting efforts on this site and The ocho's ever endeavour to find

Good luck with it place2win. It's nice to be associated with something however it is michaelg's system and I have just jumped on board (as usual :rolleyes: ).

I notice that there have been some scratchings bringing the number of runners to under 9 on a few of those races.

Your welcome , these were listed well before scratching time, so yes if less than 9 runners then discard the race.
p.s. If any of the Neural Favourites, themselves, are scratched,then we will have a new selection, I will check and update

Bedigo Race 3 will class as a no race as dual qualifying raters, however if wish to proceed:

To ensure integrity of the betting side, for this excercise (each to his own ofcourse) I will accept any price up to $50 for the backs, and have a ceiling
(Liability) of $10 (BF$11) for the lays. All will be aligned to 1 unit (amount of choice)

Update:
Well, it was some day, adjustment had to be made, because selections
were determined before scratchings, and didn't they make a mess of the days racing.
Ascot race 6 a No go due to scratchings (less than 9 runners)
Balaklava race 2 as above
Bendigo race 3 after scratchings was still a 9 runner race, BUT
NF changed from one to dual and MLF also changed from one to dual
so considered a no race.
Bendigo race 6 listed in error (over 120pts)
W Farm decimated by scratchings (6 runners only.
So apart from all the above how did we perform.

BACK NF (2winners) 2.94 but 8 losers -8 overall loss -5.06*+1

BACK MLF (5 winners) 14.06 with 5 losers overall profit 9.06*=
(Balaklava r 4 had dual selections, although a profit resulted
I determined it a no race in line with earler decisions)

Lay WSF (9winners) 9.00 with one loss 4.8 overall profit 4.2*-3

BACK UT (5 winners) 10.82 with 6 losers overall profit 4.82*-1.9

Lay BFF (5 winners) 5.00 BUT 6 losers (14.35) overall loss -9.35*+2

Best result -- BACK MLF - profit 9.06
Worst result-- LAY BFF - loss (9.35)
Best combination result - (BACK MLF/LAY WSF/BACT UT) - profit 18.68*-4.9
Best over the past 3 days = BACK MLF - profit16.96

The *(numeric) after the profit loss figure represents the +/- if we
delete the 1st starter races.

I am going to be very busy, I will continue with the Roller Coaster/UB Train
post, but unfortunately due to the complexities of this post I shall not continue at present but may well do after cup time. The Rules are there

It looks like backing the morning line fave may be the go out of those.

Can you tell us if any of the morning line favs were also the BF fav?

Also why do you have so many races laying the BFF when there were only 8 races that qualified with 3 losses?

Just don't get carried away, this is in it's infant stage (only 3 days)
there were 4 x MLF that were also BFF
Ascot R 7 No 5 winner
Balaklava R 3 No 2 Winner
Balaklava R 5 No 5 Loser
Eagle Farm R 1 No 1 Winner

As I stated in my post "Meetings suffixed with * are races with 1st starters"
so consequently my selections contained 3 races extra. There was no detriment if betting the MLF with one loser -1 and one winner +1
the 3rd race was the dual acceptance race and although it profited I discarded the race for the reason of dual selections. hope that helps.
Just remember TREAD CAREFULLY these are early days
