Why is it not possible to add something to your simple method so that it doesn't find 6 runners in 1 race?

Say , Must have a Statistics Place percentage over 33% or someting like that?

I would have to have past records and a method of analysing and rating the runners while maintaining the integrity of my method.

Sometimes my selections turn out top notch favs. and win or fail, sometimes they are at odds of $20 $30 and win like an odds on fav should.

If I go the ratings way these runners would be relegated to the bottom of the field.
The trick would be to find the best of the two methods, but as I said I don't know enough.

I said when there are 6 selections per race.
Surely you can't back them all and still make a Profit?

sorry I misunderstood you.
Yes there are two vital items that make the selections when I look at all the qualifiers.
When I print out only those tracks that produce a profit and dogs that per-qualify then I have far fewer selections but I miss out on some outliers so I compromise, print out all but make a personal selection.
Hope it clears it up.

Like race 5 Shep Alana Bale had the best time on dist 25.54 Dot Man did it in 25.71 so the selction in this case was the 4.

at Launc race 4 it is #8 on both criteria
In this case I missed but it's the ones I get that matters!!!
