Hi moeee if I may, I'd like to distract you for a moment.
A stupid question, I started to look at the doggy form line and I'm not sure what the time ran refers to?
Is it the winner's time or the actual dog's time in that particular race?
If the winner's time how many fractions of a second do you allocate for each losing lengths?

I get my Form from the GRV Website.
Formguides like from The Watchdog display the actual time ran by the animal.
I can't help you with sources elsewhere.

Dogs are about a metre long so a length would be a metre.
They usually run about about 15 metres per second towards the end of the race , so thats what I use , 15 lengths to a second.
But like I said , the work is already been done with the Victorian guides.

I posted an Excel Sheet that I ripped off from member Kennedy91210 that downloads FormLines from eForm at GRV.

If you interested it is an attachment somewhere in this Forum.

Thanks for that moeee, this data is not from there, so I will have to check this by going back to the actual race and see which dog has won and see if the time is the same or not.

I dunno if its just because of the roller coaster nature of punting , but I have finally got a couple of collects to get back half of the massive losses I incurred over the past week or so.
