At first glance Kusi & Hasna look to be nice EW odds at the moment.

Also like the odds currently on offer for Halibery & Hammerbeam.

I agree with you Betty Boop, I think Halibery is currently great odds e/w, and I'll be taking a piece of that first thing tomorrow. I'm pretty keen on Polar Success, and that's where most of my money will be going. Looking forward to the race. Good luck to all having a go.

This is the only 2YO race I have a bet on all year.

From watching each horses campaign (without betting); I have been most impressed with Dorky's consistency, How Funny's competitiveness and Secret Land's ability to rise on occasion.

Having seen the barrier draw and jockey allocation, I am less keen on Dorky now (so watch it win!).

So it is either Secret Land to rise again or How Funny to race true to form this Saturday.

G'Day all,

Personally I will look at laying Niello for plenty. I'm not saying he can't win, but I think he is well under the odds. He's won one race which according to my Pace Advantage figures was only average when compared to some of the other 2YO races.

That view was somewhat confirmed in my opinion when he had every chance but was soundly beaten at his last start as a short odds on favourite by Exceed & Excel and Untouchable.

He has ability and is up there amongst them, but breeding and media hype has pushed his price well below what is fair and reasonable given his lead up form.

In no order at this stage I think Legally Bay, Kusi, Hasna and Secret Land are the 4 top chances...all very closely matched and difficult to split.

Wont be betting on the race was going to take good odds about hansome ransom but is now scratched. Top pick is definately Shameka closely followed by Secret Land. How Funny and Dorky will be very close but couldnt fit them in my top four
