Simple software
Can anyone suggests a good bot to work for me. I just want to manually select horses to lay at the start of the day then have the bot place the bets on betfair using the Maria Staking plan. I have had a look at betbotpro but it has too many options that need to be conisdered. Unless of course there is a simple way to set that program up. When I trialled it takes into account number of winners in a row and all sort of things, that I dont want. I just want all my selections layed, using Maria, probably one minute before they jump.
Thanks |

BF Bot Manager v2 will do that for you hendo. You can set it to bet only your selections and any time you want before the jump or at SP. It's got a free trial. Good luck. Here's a screen shot of the maria staking attached: |
[QUOTE=The Ocho]BF Bot Manager v2 will do that for you
Thanks for that Ocho. I had Betbotpro installed already and gave it a go yesterday and it did what I wanted so will stick with it for now. I noticed a few people have said they use Bot Manager v2 so will keep that in mind if needed down the track. |
Reliable automated betting software
Has anyone found an automated software program to place bets on betfair that is consistently reliable?

BF Bot Manager v2. The only problem with ANY software is that you have to program it to win. It won't do it on it's own. :( |
I did download this Bf Botfmanager a while ago but were not able to trial it within the 3 days they allow from time they send the email.

Was it version 1 or version 2? v1 only can bet on one horse at a time while v2 can bet on multiple horses. If you downloaded one maybe try and download the other but don't download it until you are ready to go like on a Saturday morning or something. |
Its not base on when you download it is base on when you click to try it. They send an email to you saying the trial has started as soon as the email is sent whether you download then or not. I did not know this thinking I could download and instal when I was ready, clicked the link for a free trial. Did not know by clicking the link and providing my details effectively commenced the free trial. Based on that experience I probably would not do business with that company now. I like companies who state the important information up front, mot afterwards once they have your interest. Just their marketing strategy but its not for me.

Fair enough. Did you try and email them and let them know what happened? They may let you try again. |
Betting Assistant is the most reliable with updates when needed new features when needed and has excel interface so you can program it to do anything you want.
It also has the most active forum with assistance from not only the developers but the users are always willing to help where needed. At $10 a month it is a steal for what it can do. |

I second that, I have no other affiliation other than a long time user. Added to Shaun's comments, I have engaged them to custom write spreadsheets for me and found them to be more than fair with pricing and their attention to detail and follow up is A1. They also have a free trial available for 30 days, can't be fairer than that. |
Have to agree with Shaun & Chrome Prince. I have been using Betting Assistant for >3 years now & besides the fact you can get this amazing piece of software to do pretty much whatever you want, their support is great & any glitches are promptly fixed.
Now enough with the love in lest the developers read this thread & decide to jack the price up;) |
I have had a look at betting assistant and it is far to complicated for me. I want to back favourites depending on criteria such as price, number of starters and a few other conditions such as book percentage. I want to use the fibonacci staking method.
I did get access to bf bot manager but the bot does not match the manual and even if I try to set up a strategy all the options under the tabs are just blanked out grey pages. I have let bf bot manager know this but is not a good start if something that basic is not "fool proof". (I said that just in case I did something other than follow instructions in the manual). I am wondering whether anyone does really set their strategies and trust the automated programs to works correctly? |

That doesn't sound right hendo. Try completely uninstalling it and re-installing it. And maybe even switch your computer off and on. I don't think there should be any "grey areas". |
