For many years(40+) Ihave followed the horses in many ways.By own selection methods, by systems for sale by others. On many of these occasions I have got my fingers burnt(and still do).Because all past occurances do not seem to stack-up to the present/future.However, I do believe I may have a (system) means to a profitable future. I don't have great computer skills and do not have access to a database, nor do I have any tools to streamline/filter my (system). I would be prepared to share this (system) with anyone who can assist me in confirming its profitability. Using only a paper trail (herald/sun{vic****)and going backwards in time aug03-oct02 the followingis current results:-
aug03 164 bets(10/10) return 4896 profit 1616 jul03 113 bets return 4240 profit 1980 jun03 171 bets return 6173 profit 2753 may03 174 bets return 5583 profit 2103 apr03 141 bets return 5185 profit 2365 mar03 96 bets return 3941 profit 2021 feb03 100 bets return 4418 profit 2418 jan03 121 bets return 4629 profit 2209 dec02 126 bets return 4620 profit 2100 nov02 155 bets return 5584 profit 2484 oct02 114 bets return 2164 loss (116) current month to-date sep03 46 bets return 1005 profit 85 As you can see all months bar oct02 have a profit exceeding 1500 per month. Because this was trialed by paper/pen and head-up to all hours over many months there may be errors to clean-up. If anyone is interested in helping me to formulate the system please advise email address. regards shamus |

Sure,
If you look at a previous post, there is a group wanting establish a basic system to suit multiple criteria. http://www.propun.com.au/forums/vie...ic=3148&forum=7 trakabet@SAFe-mail.net Cheers [ This Message was edited by: puntz on 2003-09-10 13:40 ] |
Hi burnt_offering. Am fascinated by your results. I think that the only help you need is taking the winnings to the bank!
Your figures are tremendous --- on my calculations a profit (POT) of 72% over some twelve months. As has often been said on the forum a professional punter is usually satisfied with about 10%!!! My only suggestion is that the weighting to the place may be too high (though I must admit I like the place betting a lot!). Do your figures show there could be a better use in this area of the money invested? That said, many on the forum suggest 1:4 or 1:5 if you are betting each way. (smgh@ozemail.com.au) |
I think you have the system "better formulated" already. At those returns from a "system" you need no help whatsoever. Just keep doing what you are doing.
Please excuse my scepticism, but your figures seem impossible from any system or anything ealse for that matter. Do you get your info from the big man upstairs? Your not collecting e/m addresses for spam are you ? "When something sounds too good to be true it usualy ...." Cheers. Crash,
I understand your scepticism, and no to your query re-********(not interested).Sure when something looks that good it usually... However, re-read what I said earlier. I evolved this (system) method by hand, pen and long hours under the lamp using only back copies of the herald-sun (vic). I too can't come to terms with the possibility of what has transpired.Because of the amount of paper load to research (now dog-eared)I am starting to see Two of everything. What I was looking for was some assistance in confirming my assumptions and if possible some input to streamline/filter the selection process. In other words I am prepared to give of my formula in return for that assistance.Or do you think I should place it on the forum and let all have a hack at it? |
Burnt Offering,
Do you have an account with UniTab or prepared to get one? If so i can send you an excel application to download your own data and you can apply your own filters ( you will need the account open for it to work ). Then if its the real deal, how about in return say you post a tip for us now and then, that way its your system, and if its half as good as you say why share it, id say well done and keep it. post your email adress if you want a copy sent r pete |
Burnt_offering,
If you like you can email the details to me and I will run it through my database (assuming I have the required information for the system). [ This Message was edited by: becareful on 2003-09-11 15:09 ] |

G'day Ozdoc, whats involved in opening a uni tab,is it the same as a telephone account? Also will the excel application and downloaded information allow me to check a system over the last year? Forgive my ignorance on this subject as this is all new to me but if it is possible to do what i asked i would be very very interested as i have quite a few strong ideas i would like to check. |
Dale,
