Has anyone else noticed IAS in the past few days.
Not only you can't get the best of tabs, but now there is no FIXED price, only pays on nsw tab.
I would like to know what they are doing and is there any good reason to leave money with them?????

They stopped best prices some time ago. They might still have that feature on Saterdays.

I pulled the plug on them when they went to NSW prices and have no idea of how the new site operates.

The new IAS website has fixed prices & better than all TABs, whereas their old site now only offers the NSW TAB. (look at Moonee Valley tonight on both sites to see what I mean)

I guess it's their way to get people to use the new site.

well i just checked the divs on the last at benalla it payed 6.60 bris and 5.80 IAS.... I withdrew my money this morning all bar 20 and had 5x5 BRIS r8 -3(didnt think it would be so short)

Hi Nevets,

I received an email from them earlier this week advising me that they were moving DiviPlus and Fixed Odds to their new site... It takes a bit of getting used to, but it was definitely worth it last nite when I backed Gem Trader and got $18.18 IAS vs $13.60 on STAB :smile: :smile:

What they didn't mention is that they're now rounding down their payout to the lower 5c :mad: I know it's only a few cents here and there, but now I have to go and modify my program which tracks all that for me, and keeps track of my balances...

Amazing how such a small thing can really upset people. And I'm mighty pi$$ed about it.

I have also given IAS the flick for race betting. If you transfer to the new site you have to move your money which means (as I understand it) you can't use the same account for sports betting and racing. Also I noticed a couple of weeks ago that one of the "Divi+" meetings (I think it was Sydney) only paid Bettadiv on the last 2 races. The way it is going you will only be able to get Divi+ on a selected feature race!

I have also moved my race betting to the other competitor that offers better than TAB on every race. Won't mention the name here as it will probably result in the post being deleted (if I haven't said too much already!) but the name implies they are a sports bookmaker! You can email me Chris if you wan't more info!

I had a winner in one of these races, so I rang them up and asked about it.. I got the DiviPlus dividend posted within a few minutes...

One thing that I will give them is that when you have an issue like this, then I have always had very good service... I've had to ring them a total of 4 times in the past 8 months on issues of their payout, and every time they've fixed it no questions asked.

The fact that I've never had to ring the TAB or my other internet sports betting bookie might say somthing tho.

I had to ring them a couple of times and i can say they were more than helpful no complaints in that regard whatsoever ...were they going that bad that they couldnt afford to pay divi plus on all metro meetings..... I dont think so ..Im more inclined to think that they were Sqeeeeezing every last dollar ..... cant see the sense in it myself when theres so much competion out there for the gambling dollar ... thats my last on the matter cos i aint there anymore

Just received an email from IAS advising of the new site and that you must transfer to the new site to take advantage of Divi+, etc. I guess better late than never on advising the customers!

I guess on the positive side the site does look quite nice and does seem slightly faster than the old one although I can't work out why you have to have seperate accounts for sports and racing betting?

I have NEVER been paid an incorrect dividend by any other internet bookmaker (the closest was once when a bookie showed a winning Tennis bet as losing but that was not really their fault - the official ATP Tennis website posted the wrong results for the match. As soon as the correct results were posted the error was corrected and an apology emailed to all affected customers). I guess the relevant question is did they fix up the dividend for your account only or did they fix it for every winner including the ones that didn't realise and hence didn't complain???

I also now use that 'other' account too, Becareful. Slower but reliable.

I was contacted early last week about the new ias site and they were offering Divi+ ???

However, they did not say Divi+ on ALL races, so I'll wait and see before using them again.

It's really good the new site, I'd click on a race go and have a crap and by the time I got back it MIGHT have loaded.

These people have got to be kidding, they must think it's a joke or something.

I use 4 different sites everyday, no trouble with any of them except these jokers.

Yeah i thought it was mu PC because i use an old one for my Punting but every other site loads ok but that one....they suck

I was on the new site!

They lost people with the Diviplus rollback.
Then they changed websites, obviously because their old one was too quick and they wanted something slower.

Is this the Public Service? Are they actually trying to turn customers away?

edited is all the way the best service available. I've used them all and it is true without a shadow of a doubt.

Totally agree with the arguments, IAS have done nothing but go backwards over the last couple of months, there old site was well set out, easy and quick to place bets, it was an enjoyment, now it is slow, they have cut right back on divi+. last weekend i needed to place around 12 bets, and i think it took me around 1 hour, absolute joke and will have no hesistation in transfering all my funds to the other company. IAS (closed)!!!. Pathetic...

As a result of their site being slow i decide to bet over the phone this weekend. I was advised that i could not ask for more than 3 horse odds in the same race over the phone??? Yet at other times some of their operators were more than happy to quote you on as many horses as you wanted in the one race.

Not sure whether they not legally allowed to quote on more than 3 horses or not but it seemed strange to me - the said operator was also quite rude about the fact that i did ask for more than 3 quotes.

If all the promises you are making are true I am positive you will have a loyal band of followers.

I must be honest in that I have an account with you people, but in the past month or so I have so many problems with your site I just shut it down out of utter frustration.

I have opened another account with one of your opposition and have absolutely no problems with the site whatsoever.

I was quite shocked when I noticed no diviplus on Sydney races on Sat, but now you have explained that.

I just hope when you get it all up and running, the site will perform as it should.

One question, on the site I joined I can bet UP TO THE JUMP even if the race is running late (same as tabs) is there ANY reason (except for laying off) why IAS cannot allow the same.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that this new product will only beat the "largest TAB" (currently NSW TAB), and so doesn't guarantee to beat the best of all three TAB's?

With Stab buying NSW tab that will leave 2 tabs so i don't think that will be much of a problem

I dont understand that if sp*rtin*b*t seem to be doing fine offering maxi-div, why ias dont just match them, why create something when it seems that just offering best TAB dividend will get the customers, and just hold for the word of mouth effect to kick in to get the turnover required to make good profits. they had a perfect site, very quick, and realiable, it absolutly killed sp*rtin*b*t in user-friendly, now they have added so much sh*t on there site it seems to take forever to place bets, specially if you need to place a quite a few. I think that there is no reason to try to blow everyone and competitors out of the water trying to offer super duper offers, Just give whatever the best tote is australia wide, i dont reckon you would need to beat the best tote to keep people happy, just knowing that you are going to receive the best tote odds is good enough. no need to add the 5%-10%, if its going to send the company broke. ( i think i worded that right). simple language, Just Give Best Tote!, No Need For Better Than That If It Sends You Broke!. gives the punter peace of mind.
