Wednesday 7.40pm @ Adelaide

Adelaide 36ers V'S Townsville Crocs

After going down narrowly to the crocs last week in townsville the 36ers should win the return game at home tonight against a good crocs side

36ers win $1.55 *
36ers 1-10 $3.00
maybe a little on Crocs/36ers HT/FT @$6.00

I'll be betting on the total match score: over 211.5 Pts. Last week the total score was 225, surely they can't spare more than 13 pts this time round.

I also expect 36ers to win. What do you think of the 4.5 line goldmember?

edit: Also I pick Willie Farley to be the leading points scorer.

-4.5 thats a line ball bet, the crocs are a good side, there was only 3 pts between them last time, but the 36ers being at home, if i was forced to pick i would give the -4.5, i think the 1-10 margin @ $3.00 a better bet as i dont think they will flog them.

thefan 6th October 2004 07:28 PM

I might follow u guys tips and put a little on

Adelaide win $1.55
Adelaide 1-10 $3.00

But under 213.5

knowledge 6th October 2004 07:35 PM

thefan: I might agree with you on that under 213.5 now, after further analysis I'm not sure if my prediction of over 211.5 is safe. Anyhow, time will tell. I'm on Adelaide.

knowledge 6th October 2004 09:33 PM

Adelaide won by 20 pts, 111 to 91.
Leading pts scorer: Willie Farley.

Friday 7.40PM @ Newcastle

Hunter v's Melbourne

This looks like being one of the weakest games this week, just a little on the Hunter @ $2.05, being at home again after putting up a good show against the Bris Bullets[lost by 8 ] and the Tigers below par effort at home against the lowly ranked Taipans,[being down by 19 until a last quarter effort to get up by 3 pts]Could be a low scoring game, under 200.5pts

Hunter win $2.05[small bet]

knowledge 7th October 2004 05:11 PM

I agree. Under 200.5 pts is the bet for me.

edit: I decided to look into this match and Hunter Pirates look value at $2.05.

Good tipping goldmember. I had a small bet on the under 200.5 pts. Hunter did well to win, I find it strange their price stretched out to $2.15 today. Anyway, let's keep it up.

Hunter 95 - 88 Melbourne

SATURDAY 7.40pm @ MELBORNE

Melbourne Tigers v's Townsville Crocs

The tigers have struggled at their last 2 games against lowly ranked teams and even though at home, are up against one of the top 4 sides in the comp, the crocs to win.

Townsville Crocs win $1.85 *

Saturday 7.40pm @ wollongong

Wollongong Hawks v's Brisbane Bullets

Hard one to pick here,2 good sides but i have a liking for the hawks at home already had something on them to win the final, along with the kings and crocs]

Wollongong Hawks win $1.85

Multi-Crocs/Hawks @$3.42

goldmember 9th October 2004 11:09 AM

Sunday 5.00pm NZST New Zealand [2.00pm ?]

NZ Breakers v's Sydney Kings

The kings should be too classy for the Breakers

Kings win $1.40*

Sunday 4.00pm AWST @ perth [6.00pm]

Perth Wilcats v's Cairns Taipans

After a ordinary pre-season the wildcats surprised with big win over the Razorbacks being at home again, and the Taipans on the road again, cant see anything but a wilcats win.

Perth Wilcats win $1.25**
Perth -8.5 $1.85 *

Sunday 5.00pm @ Sydney

West sydney Razorbacks v's Bris Bullets

The razorbacks are always VERY hard to beat at home and after a dissapointing game in the west should bounce back against a Bris side who will back up after playing the hawks, tipping an upset,Razorbacks to win.

Razorbacks Win $2.55

Only H2H, Margin nd Hcp are up at the moment

goldmember 9th October 2004 11:26 AM

You wouldnt believe it, just after i posted them, the U/O went up,

Melb - Townsville UNDER 207.5 pts

Perth - Cairns OVER 207.5 pts

thefan 9th October 2004 02:49 PM

Townsville to beat Melbourne @ $1.85
Sydney -6.5 to beat NZ

knowledge 9th October 2004 05:13 PM

Brisbane have been heavily backed from 1.85 to 1.72. I'll give that game a miss.

Townsville are my selection to win against Melbourne.

knowledge 10th October 2004 12:05 PM

are Sydney Kings certainties to beat NZ Breakers today? I need a win.

thefan 10th October 2004 12:16 PM

WellIve got the kings with the handicap. Thats my only bet of this round.

knowledge 10th October 2004 12:38 PM

ok then I'll be backing them heavily outright.

knowledge 10th October 2004 04:29 PM

this match is driving me crazy!! Breakers are winning, then Kings, now Breakers... I'm going mad here. Why can't Kings put them away?!!!!

knowledge 10th October 2004 04:36 PM

I feel sick. Kings lose in overtime by 2 pts. I'm disgusted.

thefan 10th October 2004 04:46 PM

what a bad week of tipping on basketball. Sports punting isnt my scence.

knowledge 10th October 2004 04:50 PM

yeh I was expecting to win by bet on Kings then bet all my money on Perth who I'm sure will win.

How much did you lose?

thefan 10th October 2004 04:57 PM

It wasnt a big loss. I had it multi. It was the last leg.

So all your money is going on Perth.Goodluck. How much is all your money.

sportznut 10th October 2004 05:08 PM

I think he means he was expecting the Kings to win and he was going to put all of those winnings on Perth.

thefan 10th October 2004 05:12 PM

Well its still early season and all teams are unpredictable.

My fav teams to win this comp are Kings and Hawks.

knowledge 10th October 2004 05:44 PM

Great tip on the razorbacks there goldmember. They're currently winning 45-26, it would take something extraordinary for them not to win now.

sportznut 11th October 2004 02:46 PM

11 from 13 to the home sides so far.

goldmember 11th October 2004 04:54 PM

Yeah i backed the sunday treble, kings/wildcats/razorbacks[lost],and backed the kings, but backed the wildcats -8.5 and had a little more on the razorbacks after watching the bullets play the night before, they were outclassed by the hawks, but for only a big 3rd quarter would have been beaten out of sight, which happened on sunday anyway, looks too hard for a team to do the "on the road" double, especially interstate, wasnt a bad week but if the crocs and kings won would have been rolling in it, oh well there's the next round to look forward to, shame foxtel only shows 2 games a week which makes it a bit harder to follow.

cheers
