Bet he does.

Floydyboy 27th October 2004 09:52 PM

Any thoughts anybody

blackpantha 28th October 2004 02:34 PM

Just had a quick analysis...

Arsenal to win
Chelsea to win
Man Utd (although a bit of a danger game)
Liverpool to beat the bottom team (Blackburn)

These four I would be fairly confident backing
I will probably have 2 x 2 multi's

EDIT: Wow, those four a one multi gives about $5. Worth considering

Also Juventus look a good bet in tonight's game against Roma.
They have been in outstanding form recently and should outclass a struggling Roma outfit

Floydyboy 28th October 2004 03:47 PM

I've read around that the Inter draw was a big upset but Leece were in fact around the same points with them before this game.
Sometimes the banker games are the safest bets. I tend to get a few bankers into a multi

Yeah well I wouldnt put my house on Juve this morning but there up 1-0 at the moment 64mins
Football always throws up odd results just the way it goes this weeks epl matches has a few away favs .... always a danger I think

blackpantha 29th October 2004 05:10 AM

Juventus 2-0
74th minute

Floydyboy 29th October 2004 05:37 AM

Monies in the pocket BP well done

knowledge 29th October 2004 05:29 PM

I like Middlesbrough's chances against Charlton. Charlton's last win was on September 27 against Blackburn (currently last). Their last match was a loss at home to Crystal Palace, hardly impressive. Middlesbrough are in good form, despite being held by Portsmouth last weekend. Their last match was a 3-0 win against Coventry in the Carling Cup, which is good for morale.

knowledge 29th October 2004 05:29 PM

Man City look excellent value to me at $1.60 to beat Norwich. They are sure to win in my opinion. After beating Chelsea why would anyone bet against them, particularly against relegation-destined Norwich.

I think Everton can beat Aston Villa. Everyone is waiting for Everton to start playing poorly, as expected but the coach is a very admirable man, he's taken this bunch of average players and turned them into a CL contendor (at this stage), only 3 pts behind Arsenal.. whereas Aston Villa are in 9th, 9 pts behind Everton. Not to mention they've recently lost 3-1 to Burnley who are coming 16th in the League Championship. They were fielding a 1st team as well. They've never won away this season, with 3 draws and 2 losses from 5 games. Should be noted though that ALL of those draws came against bottom 5 teams. Everton look exceptional value at $2.00.

knowledge 29th October 2004 05:30 PM

Liverpool at $1.75 are good value for the win against rock bottom Blackburn.

$1.40 for Chelsea isn't much value but they're going to win anyway so why not take it.

Man Utd. will probably beat Portsmouth but depends which outfit will come out. No injuries though and they'll be thinking they have a chance of winning the premiership this season after beating Arsenal so an away win seems inevitable to me.

Good luck.

(by the way, I didn't post this all in one post because when I tried it wouldn't work)

Mr K
Im Staying out of the Manc Norwich match. We both watched norwich everton last week ,,, firstly I know that they were at home ,I dont know if evertons defence was lacking because that is apparently their strong suit(waffle waffle) my point being I think Huckerby and Mckenzie gave them no end of grief and I personally was glad to see Mac get replaced.the result could have gone the other way with a bit of luck . So beware those two they are dangerous down both sides of the park ..... full stop

Didn't you wait up for the whole game??? I have the score as a 2-2 draw.

Floydyboy 31st October 2004 10:05 AM

Yep I stayed up till the beginnig of the league and could last any longer ....not enough adrenalin in the system due to a lack of winners .
Yep that was a shock I lost ************ all on the ******** ,,I did lose a good chunk on mutis with LPool/Chelski as bankers ,,,,,BUT
I did however recoup some ,,when I backed liverpool..... Then Layed Blackburn for twice as much when they led 2-1 at half time ...Behind on the night but not mortally wounded

dc 31st October 2004 12:14 PM

hi im new and really starting to get into sportsbet but im off to a shocker start.

i took the short $1.20 for Arsenal. I got burnt. straight out and cost me all multi's. loss over $500. need to be wiser.

thefan 31st October 2004 12:18 PM

I wouldnt back my life no matter what in soccer.Doesnt matter who plays who. I started out like you last year. It was all up to the last multi before i collected big time. Arsenal draw....Many occassions. Last year was a great year for me with multis because I backed Joel Monaham 1st try scorer in nrl.

ports 2-0 Man United
what a shocker

knowledge 31st October 2004 12:19 PM

that's tough. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Arsenal 2-1 down.. I wonder if Arsenal can return to their good form. Maybe odds will be higher next time.

Juventus look safe tonight at $1.33, if you're interested.

thefan 31st October 2004 01:13 PM

Usually a team like Arsenal or Chelsea bounce back the following week. Ill punt big on arsenal next week.

dc 31st October 2004 01:23 PM

I was thinking Arsenal would bounce back after they drew with man united. Playing at home i predicted 4-0 against southampton. i refreshed my screen about 10 times when i saw the score. i swore it was a stat error, still shaking my head.

Arsenal play Crystal Palace next.

dc 1st November 2004 09:57 AM

juventus look safe tonight at $1.33, if you're interested

tHANKS For that tip KNOWLEDGE.... 3-0
